wow, this video is a lie. Look at what happened to japan when they started doing surveillance on companies in their own country. They would shut them down if they wouldn't comply with the rules. There was no favoritism. Pretty much it was "everyone, if your chimneys and drains aren't filtered and if the smoke isn't clean, we will call you with a warning. if you ignore the warning and continue to pollute as you do now, we shut down your hydro until you comply."

Bush says that the protocal is not well-balanced? That's quite hypocratic considering that 20% of the world's pollution is coming only from USA. Developing countries are just that... developing.

They cannot be blamed for the amount of Greenhouses that have been roaming around in the atmosphere due to the Industrialisation that developed in America. Now the USA is using this excuse to not participate, since that would mean that they would have to spend money trying to arrange their own damage!!

Yes, the United States should be participating. However, the protocol is also not well balanced. They should not have allowed developing nations to do whatever they please. Asking industrialized nations for help would have made more sense.

Yes, i agree that it is not well-balanced. Everyone should be participating in this, but not every country can cover the expenses.. (i know that can be due to misused funds) but now are these countries going to continue to use this excuse to bicker instead of someone stepping forward and say "we are, at least, going to try!"
