@shanekerchen hey Shane, thanks for a nice comment. I usually get negative feedback. I know I suck at drumming, but I have been getting better. i need to upload some new vids.
the kick drum is a 24x22(diameterXdepth) and the ride is a 21 inch Zildjian K custom ride.
Man you started from the top(kit), I can see potential in your moves but maybe you should try to reposition your kit because you dont look comfortable playing, that has alot to do with it. Oh yeah that's a nice kit by the way.
@1thess523 yea man, i went ahead and went all out. i said, why should i start with a low end kit. So, I went with a good old Truth Kit. You are right. I finally got my kit into a bigger room. This video was from earlier this year, I have to upload some more. To see if you and everyone else can see an improvement? I do beat out some 2 hour sessions, for 2 or 3 days a week and thank you for commenting bro
@nfg182 , I would have probabaly done the same if I could, I would like to see some new vids since you have been practicing that much, I have had my kit set up in the garage for the past 3 days and have only been able to play it for like a minute literally.
@1thess523 i just went for it. i had save some cash for awhile and I always wanted a kit, so I went ahead and got the truth kit i have. I also play guitar, i have been playing guitar and piano for close to 10 years now. I will have to record myself, but i really want a mic set for my kit, i just don't have the cash at the moment. i bet you are real busy and don't have time to jam?
@BrakbandProductions i have gotten that a lot bro. I just went and got a good kit, custom kit, so therefore, later with practice, I would get better and not have to sell my cheap first kit and move on to a better one. So, why not, buy a kit that you really want and learn on that and keep it forever? you get me?
@blahhapoop also thanks a lot for your respect bro, i have been getting better. no doubt. i jam on my kit for about 2 hours a day sometimes 3hours before soccer practice and i have the blisters to prove them lol
@blahhapoop zildjian a custom 16 inch crash, zildjian K custom 21 inch ride, 14 sabian AA fusion hi hats. Truth Custom Drum set. (diameter x depth) 13X8 rack tom, 16X16 floor tom, 18X16 floor tom, massive 26X24 kick drum and a SJC custom 13X8 snare 8 maple ply, 6ply birch re-rings.
not to call you stupid or anything dude, but your drum set doesnt seem cheap, and I just think its a little weird to get such an expensive drum set as your first set.
plus the chance you wouldnt be interested in drums for more then a few month. but of cause, its your choice. but just keep practicing, you will be awesome one day. I played over 10 years now, and I still suck ass :D
I'm not saying your bad, because as a drummer and a hardcore drummer especially, it's not my place to put other people or drummers down but you should be better than that after a year and 2 months. Then again it came more naturally to me than it does most people, just keep practicing, even when you don't feel like it man.
hey its not bad at all man. practice. thats all i can say. if u keep practicing like three hours a day for a few months, u will be amazing. u have the potential i can tell. :) keep playing!!
thanks a lot man. when i was editing the video. i could not quite get the audio in tune with my drumming. but thanks for the comment. i still suck at drums =]
