After finally seeing all 5 seasons....I have to say this. British Comedy is currently in the doldrums that American comedy was between 15-35 years ago. Meanwhile American comedy, thanks to obscure networks like Adult Swim (and IFC) have allowed some real talent to get exposure for a change. Shows like this have forced the institutional outlets (comedy central, HBO, Network TV etc) to try harder and at least surround their nepotistic stock with more innovative backing.
