I dont know much about Kenny Rodgers, but I love this song. A long time ago I walked away from someone I loved. I left her crying for what I thought were all the right reasons for both of us, but everyday I think about her and a little more of me dies each day. Be brave, don't walk away, cherish the person you love or your will be like me and the other sad sacks listening to Kenny Rodgers dreaming of what could have been.

I so agree. I have had my love walk back into my life after 25 years. Things are complicated right now because of circumstances out of our control and adult situations we must take care of first, but I have told him the same thing. My true love will be there in 100 years. It's killing me, but I have to have faith.
