.357 Mag was the caliber I learned to shoot with, my mom's friend had a S&W 686... ahh the memories! =)

I agree... I would like one anodized in blue or green I think. I really like the "naked" Ti too though. That fluted Ti Millie has some beautiful flamed type finish on it... they could do that to this one too I think.
I really love the idea of the steel insert in the lockbar... replaceable if needed too no doubt.
If you want a great framelock, I recommend this one highly. There are many nice ones out there though.

Well it won't be too long my friend, I will be showing some updated sharpening techniques I've picked up very soon in fact. I mean I can't sharpen as good as some people out there, but I do OK for what I desire. Shaving sharp is my goal and I'm able to consistently get that with my techniques so I'm happy. Working on a few polished edges now, haha.
S30V on a custom knife is also heat treated better then a production knife. So instead of say + or - 1.5 to 2 it's like + or - .5 because the custom ones are usually triple tempered. A good heat treated steal even O1 tool steal will outperform factory heat treats because they slow it down....Take their time or have it professionally done in a multimillion dollar actually designed for aerospace. However companies like Spyderco and what not can't spend 25-30+ bucks to heat treat each blade.
Yes indeed... I would imagine most customs would have more attention paid to everything about them... I mean you have to account for the prices somewhere, haha!
I've come to learn that heat treats, edge geometry, and metallurgy are everything... it varies so much between various manufacturers it seems. I mean not so much where they're not all decent tools, but nonetheless. I'm still learning everyday. =)
@marlbororman111 man if you want a entry level spyderco but still an amazing knife go for a grasshopper sub 15$ or even cheaper a honeybee not even $9 they may be made in china but they are still spyderco quality. blade hq stock all 3 of the mini spyderco slip joint knives
If they put a carbide treatment on the edge of the lockbar...ti on Steal is no problem because the Titanium Carbide treatment is burned over top of the Titanium and give you a RC of 70. You see if titanium is just on steal you have a soft metal on top of a hard metal and that makes the lockbar stick. Almost all custom knives treat the titanium better...Chris Reeve heat treat's his Ti lock bars...that is another solution. So there is a few ways to skin a cat.
I know some companies didn't do that and the Ti on steel wasn't the best thing available... but I'll be looking for that from now on for sure. I have to say though, I like the idea of the steel insert... just make it a bit softer than the blade so it will be the first to wear... then if needed it can be replaced. I really like what they did on the new ZT 777... that's just sexy!
I do need to do some more Glock rambling soon, I always have my G22 RTF2 sitting around me somewhere, sometimes in videos for whatever reason... but I need to do some more rambling about it indeed.

I agree, a black blade on that Ti would look great too... like my BM 760 Lum in fact. However I do like the satin just as much... I love them all! HAHA.
Stonewashed looks good on almost everything in my opinion, I love that finish. I actually swapped my black blade into the Ti handles one day, and it looked awesome but the lockup was not as great due to the more angled lock face on the Ti's blade.
I've been edcing my Emerson cqc-13 and my military for the past 2-3 weeks and I love the Millie. It's pretty much perfect. If the hardware was like the para 2's it'd be perfect. That being said if you see this and don't have a spyderco military, go get one. Hell get two, you can't get enough

i use my ti millie for normal times of the year and during the colder times of the year i carry a g10 millie cuz titanium gets crazy cold...

Yeah I hear you... it's was in the 30's last week here and my Ti Millie was freezing cold, lol. I actually almost dropped it once while cutting because my hands were freezing. Living in Texas we don't keep gloves in our glove compartments, LMAO! I keep a Glock in there, HAHA!

i did a Q&A video a while back, i got some dumb questions but i answered them to the best of my ability. you'd probably have a good thing going with that sorta thing. that's probably gonna be the only mili that i buy, i'm interested in sebenza alternatives (ti handle, frame lock or better locking mechanism i.e. mayhem, and s30v or better blade steel) and think i'll start collecting them, eventually maybe getting a sebbie to top it off.
