Good vid, as q BF vet, to new players i say, stick by your squadmates, PTFO, PTFO PTFO, PTFO, qnd once your done with that, start from step one and rinse repeat. This isnt CoD no one gives a shit what your k/d is. In BF its all about your SPM and W/L

in Conquest, the objective is actually to kill the enemies... Although capturing might be an aide for completing that objective.

@LKodiak The objective is to capture objectives. You could actually win a match without ever having to kill anyone simply by having more than half of the objectives. Getting kills should never be more important than capturing flags. That's the whole point of the game mode. If getting kills is what is more important to you, play deathmatch instead.

More tips 1. Dont jump in an IFV and drive off by yourself. THERE ARE SIX BLOODY SEATS 2. Everyone having the same spec is NOT helpful. 3. If someone is repairing DONT DRIVE OFF 4. If you are taking an objective DONT leave the flag a second before you get capture points! 5. YOU HAVE A REPAIR TOOL 6. YOU HAVE A MEDIC BAG 7. SNIPING DOESNT HELP 8. DONT BLOW UP THE BLOODY TANK/CHOPPER WITHIN 10 SECONDS 9. DISARM IT 10. DO GOOD ARRRRGGHGHGHGH Follow these rules and you will do good. =D

I do help my team in BF3 and i love it as you get more points for this than getting kills.

Alot of the time i do suicide runs to the MCOMS which is great as you get 500 if you destroy it.

at 5:00 what he says is true :P i was playin conquest on operation metro last night and in about 20 seconds i killed six enemies, revived 3 team mates and neutralized and capped the flag. all in all i got 1190 points in that one swoop of the objective

p.s. i highly recommend the M320 Buck, it's like an extra shotgun for when you run outa ammo :P

awesome video. I really like that you mention to drop kits often. I can't tell you how many times I have had to beg players for ammo. I do think you underplay the importance of not abandoning a vehicle for the enemy. too often losing that vehicle to the enemy can lose you a match. DON'T get out of your vehicle to repair if your surrounded by the enemy your just giving away your teams key piece of equipment.

I don't agree with armor being the ones to push through an advance. They should be there supressing and plunking away at targets. Then when the need arises to take out the enemy armor when it shows up. If you push forward on Karkand with the M1 from the start expect 15 RPG's to slam into you in under 30 seconds.

To clarify, when you hit the the LB button and quickly hold the RT button at the same time, you can delay the grenade throw that would normally occur when you press the LB button by itself. =o

One general 'instructional' tip that people miss out on (including me when I first started) is the fact that grenades can't be manipulated as much as other games; I found this to be false, let me explain using xbox 360 controls: >> When tossing a grenade you would normally press the LB (bumper) button, but press and hold the RT (trigger) button and I believe you can adjust grenade capability.

Again its something simple I missed out on, hope it helps!

@xCRsoccerboy my first battlefield was bad company 2 (yes battlefield 3 is my 2nd, but I want to give as much help as I can). When I first started up BC2 yes it was confusing. Please take note that THIS IS A SKILL/TEAM/TACTICAL BASED GAME. It will take some time for you to adjust from the past paced action of CoD and Killzone.

But when you do get used to it, its pretty fuking amazing.

Why? The game is SO rewarding of team play and skill so if you win, you always want more.
