No, Bulgarian is a member of slavic group of languages, it uses words from another international languages, but the letter are Cyrilics, like Russian...Example:

in Bulgarian:

Good Night! = leka nosht! = Лека нощ

in Russian

Good Nigth! = Dobroy nochi = Добрый вечер
