lexx4life must be one of those stupid offices in the video. Maybe lex it will be your family member dieiny ay ur feet, and let's see how fast u move than. Careless actions for the whole world to see.
I'm so glad I live in the USA. We are not perfect but at least the police would never stand around looking stupld while someone lay dieing at there feet
oh dear is it big brother censorship why we cant see the video, no matter we all know the truth, but you should be ashamed of yourself for trying to hide it. sad.
oh gossshhh!...this is so hard to see this man taking what looks like his last breaths and people just standing around doing nothing...gosh man, how people heartless so...I can't believe anyone could be so desensitised to death and dying. Let's hope someone shows them a bit more conpassion when they are on their last leg so that they could die with some modicum of dignity.
@goldifoxxx1 i understand what ure saying but one must understand de law b4 u can criticize what one sees on tv, dis guy u saw yes he died and de assailant was arrested and now is remanded awaiting trial, according to de autopsy dis guy wudn t have survived even if he was aided by persons around, but had anyone interfered with him deh and not professionals assigned to do so, de outcome of justice cud have been much different and de defense wud walk out on it, so de officers acted professionally
The Police have a duty of care to render assistance to any person who is injured or sick. Removing a victim from a crime scene and rushing them for emergency medical care (especially if his body is still warm) is a necessity. It is about preservation of life and limb. True at the end of the day it is the Officers call. I will encourage the Force to have all officers first aid certified and that the SSU always have trained medics among them.
@Ganstakiwi this is not the job of de police, the police is to serve and protect, there are other institutions who wuk alongside de police to render assistance to de injured and sick and i m sure u know dat...
@lexxus4life Actually my friend that is the Police first mandate...the preservation of life. Police by law have a duty of care to render all necessary and appropriate life saving medical assistance to any person in need of such. If it means rushing a critically injured person 10 miles to the nearest Hospital...that is done. It is better to save a life and sleep at night than to watch a human being die when you can do something about it. That's why Police are first aid trained and some are EMTs.
@Ganstakiwi i m only guessing dat ure not from st lucia or u must be referring to some other law cause first of all police officers are not trained emt s, neither is it part of the initial training, the police is not there to save any injured man, u are mistaken as to what preservation may mean in terms of policing, it simply means that de police is there to prevent criminality against humanity, thus preserving life, but once de offence has been committed his job is to prosecute suspects......
LISTEN! i cyah stand lucian police!!! I believe in justice but you don't just stand by watch someone DIE! SERIOUSLY!!!!!! hang your damn heads in shame! STAND UP FOR THE PEOPLE AND WE WILL RETURN THE FAVOR!
Well, i am not from St. Lucia. I am actually from Dominica and i think the police in Dominica are faced with similar problems and issues like police from St. Lucia. I would think it would be protocol that the ambulance and police be notified when an incident is reported.
Before we throw stones at the police we need to take a look at the laws and bylaws...to my knowledge, the police followed proper protocol by not handling the injured man, as unreal as it may seem. This is how it is in alot of other countries
This is absolutely crazy,st.lucian police needs to be retrained and possibly face some sort of tribunal.I mean the bad elements in their.ShaMe on you R.S.L.P.F

This is rediculous, shouldn't the police have first aid training so they could at least aid victims until the ambulance gets there!
