Pigeons are flying rats, they have so many diseases on them. That's just disgusting. I know that pigeons' lovers will give me -, but I'm not wrong, pigeons are dangerous !
Actually, that's not nearly true. Pigeons are everywhere and if they carried disease like some try to claim, we'd all be sick. And another consideration, if pigeons didn't eat so much of the garbage people throw away, there would be a lot more for rats - real rats. No, pigeons are just birds like all the other birds and they're quite darling when you get to know them. They make wonderful pets and they're great parents who mate for life. We could learn a lot from them if you ask me.

They were wild. My father used to feed them, but he did it for so long they became semi-tame. Their neighbors called the Health Department on him for doing it though, so now he can't feed them like he used to anymore. :(
Yeah, to get rid of them in Trafalgar square, they passed laws and forbade people feeding them, because too many people love pigeons!
How many of you pigeon haters ever stopped to think about the elevated status of the pigeon in the Bible? For example, the story of Noah, or the symbol of the Holy Spirit which is a pigeon! When Jesus was born, his parents dedicated him at the Temple in Jerusalem with the offering of... pigeons! They were the only bird which God would accept as an offering.
nobody hates any animal. i love pigeons. in the UK, loads of people love to feed them..(including me)...but they have to eat just as much as we do. they love us humans. (sometimes anyway) ;LOL
UK do have animal rights protection over wild pigeons aswell. over all animals really.
omg, i love pigeon but too much is bad. i often throw away pigeon eggs to stop the population. lol.. scary. i used to raised myself some birmingham rollers.

@starpowergo - We stopped feeding them, and eventually they all left. We still have pigeons in the neighborhood, but not as many.
