@kreater111111 financially yes, there is a big difference. but i think people shouldn't worship other just because they're rich. hell, people shouldn't worship anyone.
@JohnTheRipper2 we can all have our heroes cant we? its good to look upto someone. im not saying NP is my idol lol.. i only came across this video from a thread on IMDb where people thought she was a bitch
This video actually makes me cry. 1:02- 1:19 basically sums up the absolute HAPPIEST moment of my life. I've idolized Natalie since I was 8 years old, and I was 15 when she shook my hand, took a picture with me and gave me her autograph. Today is the year anniversary, and I'm still in absolute shock that this happened! xD
Not sure what the big deal is. She didn't seem rude to her fans at all and even expressed concern for the girls up front who were getting squished. Why do people always have to make something out of nothing?
@repn87 That girl has a Harvard degree and sees acting as a hobby... I'm sure she'd fare well without them. Go to imdb.com, search her name and read the many quotes they have of her that have spanned her career. You'd be surprised.
But not having any privacy is more than enough to kill any aspirations of fame for me...
@bornbythesea I asked her what her favorite color was. And the whole big deal was because I'm like her biggest fan, and the people I was waiting with knew how badly I wanted to know lol xD
And also, nice to see that someone else was shouting for Darren Aranofsky, his fiance, Rachel Weisz, is lovely, but everyone was shouting for her and not this brilliant director!
I was there! What an amazing girl, she got ushered away by the handlers for interviews, yet came out again to sign more autographs after we chanted her name for half an hour!
And yes, NO pushing or crushing, only of the fans!
I don't understand why this moment is in the news - Yahoo! & other "news agencys made out like Natalie Portman was pushed or crushed by the crowd when she merely expresses concern that girls up front of the crowd would be squished against the barrier. She kept her cool & her charm signing autographs and there was no news-worthy incident. Thanks for the video that clears up what REALLY happened. Not really a FRENZY though ;)
That craziness is far too much. I've seen vids of celeb fans in France and they seem much calmer.
