yes wwe is scripted and staged, the winners are known for at least a month in advance, my friend personally wrestles in the wwe. he has really gotten hurt due to the fact that the more they sell the match, the more they actually make on their salary. there are a few bad apples within the wrestling organizations, but hey, it still one of the best male soap-operas out there.

Granted they DO try to minimize the damage they put into a move, all that does is prolong the agony as the match goes on.
