Honestly, in the case of a close-contact zombie apocalypse situation it would be best to find a thick and durable jacket and pants, gloves and a full-face helmet. Motocross chest armor seems to be a good choice as well. If you have to run around fighting hordes, why only wear a white button shirt and even fold up your sleeves. Weapons lying everywhere but not a single long-sleeved jacket for protection.
