This is clearly not a black and white subject. She wrote the book to bring people's attention to the Egypt scenario and refers to other circumstances through out history.

American culture has taught us that there is a winner and loser in every scenario. Get passed that.

The ONLY reason for this discussion is to pave the way for an accepted looting of ancient Mesopatanian artefacts from Iraq. By the way i think there's something racist about the argument that WE deserve to have them because the native barbarians don't have the necessary sophistication to truly appreciate them. Really what sticks in the craw is the notion that a non white civilisation existed when Europe was largely much more primitive. That Hitchens should be ashamed.
