You do really good work. What I don't understand, is why would you waste all that mechanical knowledge, time, and money, on a motor that's designed for economy purposes, not for power.

With all the time and money you spent to make that weakling a race car, then blowing it up because it's not designed for that type of abuse, you could've bought and installed a good b16a2. I've owned a 6th gen EX for almost 4 years now, and I've never even taken it up to 5,600.

yeah d16y motors are known for that.. its because the oil pump is not that great.. always the last bearing to go.. you can shim the oil pump and port it to get better flow, or swap it for a d16z oil pump but you will loose the oil dip stick
