To actually begin training as a figure skater at the age of 12 speaks volumes as to the mind-boggling amount of natural talent Johnny Weir has. I believe without a doubt that he should have gotten the bronze medal in Vancouver, and it is truly a shame that for all of the overhauling in the scoring within figure skating (the ISU is completely retarded and always behind the times it seems, far more so that any other sport for sure), there are still skaters like Johnny that slip through the cracks.

i totally agree with johnny when he talked about how Oksana was his idol. when the '94 olympics began i was all for nancy kerrigan, but then oksana appeared and i remember being mesmerized with her performance and wanting her to win.

I second Hermione. I definitely think the judging is rigged somehow, it's just BS. I think Johnny's performance was among the top 3 figure skating performances I've seen. It was moving. Isn't that what this sport is about? Beauty in both choreography and skill?? Johnny's performance embodied both. His performance was, in my opinion, better than Plushenko's and Japanese's.
