  • 我剛看到Tom's Dell computer的畫面中看到安裝螢幕時先移除塑膠套再安裝腳架和面板即可大功告成。

    註:黑色藍色白色的VGA三者可以自行使用

  • LOL at any one saying this screen is shit, kinda shows how stupid/some ignorant people can be? (it's ok, I can be too sometimes :) ) Dell UltraSharp screens are some of the best panels made. Period. ANd this is coming from an Apple fanboy, as they actually use some of the same pro-grade panels as Apple and other PhotoShop certified manufactures.

  • 2ms vs 6ms

how can you notice a difference, i'm gonna buy this or the dell u2711 monitor.

  • @wolfmotha77 dont get it ;p? Its just a stupid name. I believe its more about what the screen does. If its giving you good results.

  • /watch?v=yw_YIpDYgDU

  • this vieo is old, this Ultrasharp is 4 years old with more than 20ms response time

  • @quakebox He said 6ms, which is still shit. And I laughed at 1000:1 contrast. Mine's 2mil:1 =\

  • @JoeyBieg This video is 4 years old.

  • @DellVlog I was replying to someone who said the same thing; I'm aware. I just find it funny how technology gets exponentially better so quickly.

  • @JoeyBieg thats a 2 mil to 1 dynamic contrast. It probably has closer to a 400:1 static contrast ratio, while this one uses an S-PVA panel which have the best ture contrast ratios of LCD. Dynamic contrast is nothing more than a marketing tool.

  • Make this monitor 2ms and ame buying it:)

  • this looks bad

  • i have it, and it's perfect (:

  • Anyone know if i can have a new powerbottom. I have the same problem like many other people with this monitor. Its broke and i had to remove it. Now i cant turn the monitor off anymore.

  • What A Nerd

  • @mild546 what e hater *joke* xd

  • i was like 6ms and he said it was the best lo fkn l but then i saw 2006 and still had to comment

  • Is it FullHD???

  • I like this monitor... :D

  • The one cent power button breaks and Dell advises to junk it.

Instead I am tossing Dell in the garbage. NEVER AGAIN!

  • i love the stand of 2407WFP can i put that stand on my U2410 Monitor?

  • to TerorB10 i dont work for Dell but if you buy one of there cheap desktop computers and the power button fails what do you expect for mass produced cheap pc's? build your own next time

  • y dont u tell the customers about the scam youve been playing, dell! your power button scam! tell em! come on!

  • hey, dell!!!!!

  • hello

  • Um.. yeah..... hello..

  • got this one, not perfect for console gaming, but ideal for PC gaming, since console games dont have high AA. and then it looks like a pc game on low setings. for console gaming i would prefer LCD TV, but still can play ont htis monitor too. no prob.

  • P2370L very high contrast ratio (around 2,000,000:1), response time 2ms (GTG). DVI-I input (HDCP supported), 1080p, full HD resolution.

LED MONITORS ARE THE FUTURE !!

  • you might want to check out the OLED monitors that are coming in the near future.

  • its still an lcd monitor though. The only thing thats LED is the backlight and obviously the power light. But the screen itself is stil an LCD panel

  • didn't know there was a new monitor - the fpw huh...

  • I have 2408 wfp and i dont know how to access sd memory.also i dont have it connected to the computer, could that be a problem? help!

  • it has to be conected to pc throught usb, so u can use mem cards on monitor

  • hey i have that on my windows vista home premium but it's an 19''

  • The gateway 24" is all around the best bang for your buck.

  • The gateway doesn't use an S-PVA panel though.

  • if the game is on pc it would look great, aspect ratio wise, but not if its a console,it will be stretcht??

  • no it shouldnt.. just get the 2408WFP for $480 shipped @ dell store. Better than the 2407 from my understanding.

  • Yup. Worth every penny too.

  • I'm kinda wondering what's your opinion on HDTV vs monitor lcds?

  • i would suggest Benq's V2400w, it has hdmi and dvi and a usb for like half the price

or anything from samsung, their all solid screens

  • lol, this IS a Samsung panel. just a dell housing/electronics.

  • this one does to but does the one you mentioned have full 1920by 1200 wich is slightly over full hd wich is 1920by1080

  • 6 mim sec thats way too slow.I have an fhd2400 and my is like 3 min sec.

  • wow 3, 6 min a sec? i dont get how your screen can refresh 6 minutes per second...

  • i just sold fhd2400 (i like the design) because of the glare i could see anything on the screen BUT the picture itself

  • hi, i just bought mine and i have to say this monitor in image quality terms realy isn't something well built, it has poor image quality as it as limited to 26 bit colour and yeah black just isn't there, i have better image quality in my samsung 2032bw than this. it's overprices and as firmware serious issues.

i wonder if anyone could help me out with that. to resume i'm quite dissapointed with

    this 2047wfp!

  • HEy Mr Dell , Your monitor certainly has good points , but you TOTALY failed at providing a low input lag.

    Mouse moves feel so sluggish.

And as a professional , working with a graphic tablet with such noticeable lag is just a pain in the ass.

SO for you next monitor generation or revision

do reduce the lag to 10 ms and everything will be ok.

  • This monitor looks like crap, for the same price you could get a 42" HDTV 1080p, with 10,000:1 contrast ratio, not just 1000:1. That is why this monitor sucks for movies, white washed, no real blacks.

  • ok give us a link with a $700 42" 1080p please

  • yes please, id like to know too

  • i totally agree

  • Those 10000 to 1 contrast ratio measurements are incorrct and usualyl use whats called dynamic constrast ratio. This uses an IPS or S-PVA panel depending on the revision, which are moe expensive panels and have superior viewing angles.

  • could you tell me the right settings for this monitor e.g. brightness, contras, etc...etc? thanks!

  • wow i have that monitor

ive never known what it was called

unfortunatly my pcs crap and i cant use the usb ports on the screen because of power issues :(

  • anyways that dell screen is hot!

  • people have bitched about desk space as a reason to get an lcd over crt, so they get one, yet some of these same people buy a huge Atx tower with inefficient power draining cpus and video cards along with the lcd, instead of a powerful and energy efficient space saving MINI PC to match with it! real fkn smart people!

  • lol

  • lol

  • Because generally, there's more space on your FLOOR than on the top of your workdesk smartypants.

  • i have a 26* tv and use it for pc it roz

  • HDMI connections?

  • there is one

  • I am getting one of these 2407WFP used (but in mint condition) for $300 CND. Is that a good price for this?

  • terrible, actually.

CND almost match USD do that is a terrible deal.

  • I got one of these yesterday, and ill have to say its awesome but it frequently goes into "power save" or something like that. It usually happens when im playing a game, and it gets quite annoying. Is there anything i can do to fix this?

  • hey if you got windows vista go to control panel

    go to system and maintenance

    then go to power options

then you should see power saver and under power saver you shoud see change plan settings, click it

then you should see turn off display and put the computer to sleep and under each one select never in both battery and plugged in and hit save changes

this should work hope its not confusing but make sure you put you computer on screensaver before you go to bed

  • asdads

  • The thing with color accuracy isn't true. S-PVA LCD Screens can display ALL colours, that a crt can display, I repeat ALL colours. Trust me ;)

And the Speed isnt relevant for somebody who makes graphics with Photoshop ;)

  • At the beginning did he say FPW instead of WFP?!

    The Director or Displays!!!

  • does it really matter Flat Panel Widescreen, or Widescreen Flat Panel. Shiiiieeett

  • fpw was for the 2005 edition. the 2007 edition is wfp. I guess he was using 2 year old terminology.

    2005=2405fpw

    2007=2407wfp

  • 6 ms response time isn't good... that's like bad, right? 2 ms would be good.

  • anything under 8 is considered "good"

  • it all depends on what kind of performance you want. i am an x-professional gamer so im not blowin smoke up ur ass. 6ms will give you a maximum of 167 (1000/6) frames per second that your screen can display. (YES, your fps counter in your games may say 200..300..or 999 like on my 8800GTX OC, but your screen is the limit at this point.) you wont notice the difference much beyond 100fps. If you want more than that, get a smaller monitor with a 2ms response time or waste money on a crt. ur choice

  • the human eye can't see the difference under 15 ms anymore.

Btw with a 2 ms the screen uses a tn panel wich has a bad fiewing angel and the colors aren't what they should be. This uses a S-ips panel wich is really good voor colors but sux when in comes to inputlag its like 60 ms, and that means it's bad for gaming.

  • 2 ms in theory faster than 5 ms. In practice 2 ms is same as 5 ms. So figure out how ''bad'' is 6 ms. By the way chaines12345 was right.

  • 2ms and 5ms are often the same because they are different stats of the same computer... 5ms is the tipical refresh time and 2ms is the fastest possible refresh time, grey to grey.

  • do you guys think i could connect a capture card using the composite inputs?

  • SAMSUNG 245T better that this

  • I just went to the Dell store and saw this monitor in action. Very impressive.

  • Imagine half life 2 and crysis on this baby

  • DELL ARE RIP OFFS DONT BUY FROM THEM

  • your right, custom pcs are better although they are more expensive they could last you for a minim of 2 years

  • their pc's are shit but their monitors are top stuff.

  • How are you going to build your own 24" display??

  • Custom pc's are better, and aren't as expensive, if You know how to shop and where to shop and when to buy you're okay. You don't have to get the best components. I've seen a $600+ dell and My shuttle I built out performs it and I only paid a little less than $500 for it. The Dell didn't even have a graphics card... And they last long, just depends if you feel like swapping parts for newer parts, you'd do the same with the dell...

  • Let me tell you... the 2407 HC is a good buy... You get what you pay for.... So you pay a little more.. big deal. I just got my monitor today and its SICK! Such an awesome monitor... your just a cheap skate tight ass!.... lawl... This monitor is definitely worth it..

  • nice monitor, i have a HDTV 26" and i love to play fsx there and other games, but the max resolution is 1360.. =o(

  • which is over 1080p

  • Can you get a 24 inch monitor with a 4ms or 2 ms reponse rate?? This has 6 ms.... Would it make a difference? the Samsung syncmaster 226BW 22 inch has 4 ms.... but when you go to 24 inch.. it goes 6ms.... IS everyone happy with 6ms with a 24 inch monitor?

  • good question!

i would like to know that too.

  • how can you possibly compare the 226BW to the 2407WFP? :x

the dell features a S-IPS panel while the 226bw has a TN panel. Search google for "LCD Panels" for more information.

  • i read under 12ms for human is the same. (ghosting isn`t visible anymore), so no point going lower.

  • Yep. I have a Gateway FHD2400- it has a 2ms response time- no ghosting or input lag at all

  • because its a TN panel noob ...L2use computers lol

  • BTW don't get the HC version, it has terrible ghosting. Go for the a04 revision if you can find it. There's a few on ebay every now and then.

  • can i use for my laptop which has 64mb memory graphic ? for that resolution ?

  • lol

  • lol

  • The amount of memory is irrelevant. The card should support the relatively high res.

If you have an analog connection (VGA) you should also try this resolution first, even if it works. The image quality at high resolution might suck for your specific card.

  • DVI is preferable for 1920 x 1200, it'll probably look fuzzy over VGA.

  • is ti 1080p?

  • yes, the resolution is 1920*1200

  • and euh and euh eeuh euh man learn to speak

  • ur funny

  • Gee its fat for a lcd. Looks quite heavy, whats it weigh?

  • Its a 6ms monitor of course its not gonna blur even 8ms monitors dont blur

  • i plan on getting this monitor, but also want to watch tv on it, how would you? theres no cable thing to screw it in. would you use component?

  • buy a digital box and conect throug s video, component

or composite video. ull need speakers though.

  • but crt cannot give a progressive screen. therefore it uses interlacing modes, like 480i and 1080i. these modes suck, 1080i is the equivlent of 574i due to the fact that 1080i doesnt have all the lines on screen all the time. lcds blow crts of the map.

  • You realise that mose computers are designed not to interlace resolutions long before LCD technology surpassed CRT's right?

  • CRT is vastly superior to ANY LCD screen. Fact. LCD dont refresh the entire screen, instead they 'morph' the image pixel by pixel. this is why the images have delay ( lag ) and moving images look poor and ALWAYS will, due to the technology. CRT refresh the entire screen, so you always get a brand new image, created in one go, rather than 1000s of square pixels, which gives a blurry look that cant be eliminated, even with 0ms delay. . CRT are used in all film studios.

  • Maybe. But i have this monitor rev a04 and its incredible. 1080p with xbox 360 through vga anyone??

I cant imagine how the image quality could get any better on this monitor, and i have seen no lag or streaking or blurring or whatever you want to call it. Its just a clean perfect image through all of the inputs for me.

(and i play fast action games)

  • lcd's are sharper more pixels and there not boxy

  • Not to mention a graphic artist won't touch an LCD.

A good Flat Screen aperture grill CRT owns up any LCD in terms of speed and color accuracy thus giving an overall better picture. Really the only downside IMO is the size of the CRT, it's weight and smaller viewing size. But I would take one any day over an LCD.

A great example is the 88lb NEC MultiSync FP2141 SB. Truly one of the best monitors ever made.

  • Haha, because you've never even tried a REAL LCD before, the cheap ones sucks balls. Try a good one = your eyes will have an orgasm.

  • thats nice

  • my 22" LG lcd screen has a contrast of 3000:1 :) my kicks yours HARDstyle:P

  • But yours in only a 22"......! get a real size.

  • Love this monitor, have one at home and one at the office... just sweet!!! Xbox 360 runs so smoothly on this. :)

  • My 30" will step on that puny LCD. Good review btw.

  • my 22" LG lcd screen has a contrast of 3000:1 :) my kicks yours HARDstyle:P

  • That is one nice monitor

  • Didn't you here what he just said? You do need a TV cable box to watch TV with this monitor.

  • If you play the 360 or PS3 on this monitor would it look just as good as it would on a big screen like a 30"-50" or wold it look better because it's smaller so there not as much space to fill up.

  • I have this monitor... I watch tv on it, play games on it, its got picture in picture... SHIT this thing is awsome...

  • do you need a HDCP monitor or video card to run the xbox 360

  • Can I use it as a regular TV?

  • yeah, you can use it as an HDTV (1080), it also is HDCP compliant for BR/HD-DVD playback

  • i have this monitor for my xbox 360, computer, dvd player and Austar (and free to air tv). it's a revision A03 and has no banding issues on the DVI -D or VGA slots but on the other ports it does have some banding but really i don't care... add's a cool effect when the 360 starts up XD

  • Free to air is acting up on me. how is yours running?

  • im getting this baby for my 360 since its cheaper than an hdtv and i have a small room

  • you should get the 30".

  • can i use this monitor to watch tv and how would i connect my cable line to the monitor?

  • This monitor is excellent and always gets great reveiws andcosts Hundreds less than Monitors of similar quality. This display costs less than $800 and can be foubndnd onsale for less often. Compare that to a Samsung that would cost $1,100.

  • Banding problems? I've got two of these... Haven't experienced any banding problems.

I did get some weird artifacts when displaying one particular image - but only on my work machine. The one at home has been perfect so far.

I used to rate my 22" CRT, but this monitor rocks!

  • from what i've read on their forums, this models still has banding problems despite being at the A03 revision model. when will they fix this? at the price it is at, there ought to be more reliability and less shortchanging of customers.

  • okffffffffff

  • Very nice i'm now very intrested in this display as many of the connections on this display i can use
