Ok, I found all the nirnroot and I killed him in one hit like you did, took his key but didn't find any 100 bottles of grand elixer in that cubord.. I guess it only goes with PC? Or there was an update? idk im playing it on the 360

I think they are quite easy to found when just exploring the world.

All you got to do is run along the edge of all the water sources. I found 60 just running around the Imperial city.

I have found daedric armors from oblivion gates and from marauders.

Some members of mages guild are recharging magical weapons. You can also use Varla Stones, Welkynd Stones, Soul Gems and of course Azura's Star.

Four gates shut though - no Daedra, but I supoose that's because I'm only level 10. :P

u know u can use duplication glitch on em potion u didnt need to kill him and nick em lol! shame the nirnroot cant be duplicated with the scroll cheat or with archmages chest but the kill resurect and copy 1 might work with them =]

Ninroots are easy to find actually, just everywhere close to water, coasts and rivers.

If u go to the imperial prison there is one dude in a cell yelling is it wrong to worship night mother and they took my house. Well in one district there is a house where he lived theres a guard iside which u can kill cause u get only 5 gold bounty on your head. I wodered why it was wrong to worshipp nightmother until i founded
