Zentradi were bioengineered and mass produced for war by a more advanced alien species. Superior warriors, Zentradi wiped out 80% of Earth's population during the first encounter, after hearing Lynn Minmay song, some Zentradi sided with humans and turned against their brothers helping mankind survive. These people in the video are the descendants.

I'm going to clear up the mess here. I have been looking up various sources and apparently ninjin DOES also represent the word for ginseng. In Chinese, the character for Ginseng is 人參, which is the same kanji Japan uses for carrot. Nowadays, Japan uses 朝鮮人参 for Ginseng. The translation for this Kanji is Korean Carrot but both Korea and Japan pronounce ginseng as ninjin. Hope that simplified things a little.

Clovera is right here. Carrots in Japanese have no other name then Ninjin, I even double checked it on my japanese-english translator. There is red ginseng, dont know if it's a root or a vegetable but it looks a bit like a carrot but it is a completely diferent thing. And besides, Ranka is singing ninjin in this song so I dont understand how ginseng fits in to the picture?

Shame on you yes999hk. Although Japanese Kanji is from China, it's not Chinese. Many writings, though using the same (or equivalent) characters, bear completely different meanings, e.g. 勉強=温習、 切手=郵票 etc.

They are always there, It's just that they are clearly shown when she is singing but they can also sometimes be seen when she is just talking or smiling.
