Free BluRay movies on PS3

i was trying to get Charlie St. Cloud's bluray dvd on to my usb flash drive from the ps3. but it wouldn't copy. do you know how to do it? if you could help me, gosh, id love you forever. ive been looking everywhere. and ive gotten no where. please help if you know what i need to do. <33 (:

Um i have a question .. So its a blu ray movie but how come i can watch it on my computer ? dont i need blu ray to watch it ?

@dark0magic Yes you can I'm not sure on the specs necessary to do it so plz dont quote me on this but at least a dual core 2.00 GHz 4g RAM, these are the specs on my rig and it works great, but to watch them download either DIVX player or VLC media player, they both play mkv files, and are both free, just goggle them.

What is the "always transcode DTS" used for?

By the way, do your files get a sound reduction after converting/transcoding?

isn't the blu-ray 50GB ?

on the video is 4 or 5GB why ?

Blu-ray disc come in two size 20gs and 50gs, with most movies taking up usually close to 20gs on a disc, but when you rip away just the feature film without any of the extras, or the dvd menu, its only about 4gs for 720p and around 5-6gs for 1080p. Hope this cleared that up for you

You can move the file if your system is not fat32 but ntfs

Is it necessary to split the movie into 3 parts?or can I just have the movie in 1 file?

Yes it is necessary to split the file because if you dont the volume will be to large to move ie. you mont be able to move the movie file off your computer other then to delete it.

You Dont Have To Go Throught All Thiat Crap Just Get A Flash Drive Format It To FAT 32 and drag and drop any movie file ie.avi files work best and click display all on usb device on your ps3 and thats it !

Yeah you can do that but this is ffor BLURAY (mkv) movies I got plenty of avi files, but mkv look alot better, so try drag and droping mkv and see what happens thanx for the comment

Also please answer this question E1Reason. If you can watch bluray movies this way, then whats so special about bluray discs? i thought the bluray discs provided the excellent quality?

There is no difference between this and a bluray disc, other then alot of people dont know that you can watch them this way. And the downloaded movies come from Bluray disc that people rip and upload

Yes there is a reason try relocating the mkv file and you will know why
