Star Wars is not geeky. In fact star wars has one of the best storylines.

The problem is time moves and after 31 years star wars finally lost its shazam ( or magic ,whatever) a lot of teens dont like it cuz it is old and the interest in movies and games has changed . The game would be unbalanced, because Fire Emblem has totally different standards of what's normal and such, for example, Ike can take down a dragon in one blow ( if you've played far enough ) and Soul Calibur world people, can probably defeat a dragon in a team or something but not in one blow, so it wouldn't be fair if Ike was in

And seriously, the whole fanservice idiocy with the Star Wars characters is irritating. Yoda catching Asteroth's axe? Give me a break. That little fucker would be splattered all over the stage. Soul Calibur should be above using such stupid gimmicks. Random guest characters to draw in new fans are great for new franchises, but Soul Calibur and its predecessors have long been established as the cutting edge of fighting games. Leeching off of Star Wars is beneath Soul Calibur's dignity.

Yoda didn't 'catch' Asteroth's axe. He stopped it with force powers. Considering what he's done in the movies, I think he's quite capable of stopping an axe. And I do also think they should have left Star Wars out of it, but at the same time, it wasn't a bad idea. The only one I have a problem with is Yoda, but only because he's too small to fight against like a regular character. He can't be grabbed or hit by high horizontals, which gives him too much of an advantage if played right.

The only thing Vader has goin for him is his force grabs, which are easy to avoid, and that quick unblockable he has. Other than that, he's too slow and doesn't have any decent damaging combos. I actually think Apprentice is the best of them all, but I also think he's a bit too good too.

Hmm...I have PS3 and have downloaded Yoda. He's fast and has some strange advantages, for example, throws don't work on him because of his small size. However, Darth Vader is also a good choice, he's a little slow but quite strong. But I prefer The Apprentice/Starkiller, he really kicks asses.

Soul Calibur went in a bad direction adding Star Wars characters. Sure sure, it was cool for people who don't know the series well, and the over-sluttiefied chicks were for just the fanservice and all, but the game is flat-out ruined now. I've played every single Soul Calibur, and this one dissapoints me in terms of how the game itself was executed. The gameplay sucks bad, all it has is graphics. I'm speaking the truth. As much as another non-fitting character being advertised on my game sounds absolutely lovely, I'd prefer if they used that extra blank space for downloaded characters in general, so they can keep adding to the roster and keeping the game fresh.
