Captain America was made after Disney bought Marvel and I don't know if Disney had any input on it, but I will say that it really felt like one of the classic Disney films. If the film had had the Disney castle logo at the front of it, it would not have been out of place at all. If you don't believe that, watch The Rocketeer sometime. Joe Johnston did that film for Disney in the 90s and it's very similar in tone and style. I think the similarities are deliberate and may be why Marvel chose him.
