@kristianPJ for 1 i hate the name and i hate the way ole is used i would of left out all the ole's and called the track what you say..the other band members need to be quiet and let ed sing and after the main solo i would of had the solo continue in the outro with ed but not so over dubbed in the vocal...then i would listen to it and love it..same with the fixer..take the yeah yeahs out and i like it..umm of the earth..to complex for radio but i like it..needs some work though

it has elements of Habit and Undone in it, it's alright but it seems like they're running out of ideas i guess. but i cant actually make that an official opinion because this is the only new piece of theirs i've heard. i will have to wait and see :)
@giventofly1789 the prob is these guys have never had good choice with what they release...i meen there were i think 4 songs on lost dogs which they class as b sides that with a little work would of been great releases at any time like sad..undone..hold on..down..all great songs and represents them to a t

@muziqspumpinau If I have to tell yo the truth, I ve started to dig PJ around 3 years ago only ahah . Never been that much interested in most of PJ's earlier stuff. I love rock and roll stuff like The Stooges, MC5 or Dead Boys, and songs like this revive that kind of soul, better than many of today's so called "indie" band, that sound just like copycats. And let's not forget you have eddie vedder's voice topping it all ahah
@muziqspumpinau What are you hoping for exactly? Another song like Jeremy or Daughter or Love Boat Captain or some epic ballad? I mean as great as those songs are Pearl Jam are often at their best playing straightforward Rock N' Roll! And this song is a great example. It's more like Habit or Hitchhiker lol or maybe even LUKIN! Which rules!
No effort in songrwiting? It Rocks, it has energy and a great hook! What more do you need?

@muziqspumpinau Well all I can say is that it's unfortunate you're so easily disappointed. It's not even like I had to listen to this song a few times to get into it, I loved it the first time. I'd even say it's better than a lot of the stuff on Backspacer and I love that album all the way through.
Pearl Jam are a very different band than they were in the 90s, especially the early and mid 90s. They've gotten a lot more Punk influenced and have a grage sound now. Some people dig it, some dont.
