  • Both music and instrument are haunting and enchanting. Bravo!

  • Very beautiful. I've subscribed.

  • For this piece I used the Italian tuning (bb Ggg dd ee)

  • I've noticed there are an Italian and French cittern tunings. What's your's tuned to?

  • Im connecting the lady of shalott to the lady of the lake in my book

  • I love this. I have the DVD and its just lovely - the story, the costumes, the acting.

    And of course the music.

I play the lute myself (though I know this is a cittern) and would love to play this.

  • Thank you for your kind words. There is no lute arrangement but if you have a cittern (renaissance tuning) I'd be happy to send you the music. Email me via my website if you wish.

  • I saw the film at the collection in Lincoln: at a tennyson evening that was hosted there to celebrate his 200th anniversary

  • This might sound morbid, but I can't think of a better way to die. I mean, lying in a boat, floating down a river? It sounds so peaceful.

  • Interesting thought. Your timing would have to be planned to perfection to achieve this!
