This is also the recording for the All The World's A Stage live album.I know this for the simplle fact I have played this album over a period since the album first came out and The Anthem live version was and still is an addictive tune.Hell the whole album is so addicting I've had the double live vinyl twice the cd three times. One never forgets a tune he plays countless times.Shit I even have the air guitar, drums, vocals down to the last note
All the information in the info section is from the All The World's A Stage show I just left out the Album title so that the you-tube police wouldn't block it due to copyright infringement.
@rickyon Very good thinking I am not a computer wiz I'm curious does one make money fromm those who view your site or for that matter I learned the Facebook mogul is worth 200billion holy shit that can clear Canadas deficit Keep it up cheers
Because I have close to 5 million views of the videos I've posted they have contacted me about earning money per-view on my channel. The only problem is that you have to own the rights to the music that you are earning money for. I only have about a dozen songs on my channel that my band owns the rights to and the view count is relatively low on those posts.
GREAT SONG I WISH THEY MADE 20 RECORD S IN THE OLD HEAVY STYLE LIKE FLY BY NIGHT AND 2112 NOT THE POST MOVING PICTURS STUFF.ANYBODY TELL ME WHATS SUOP WITH THE CLOTHES WASHERS ON STAGE IS THAT SO THAT HAVE FRESH PANTIES OR WHAT??LOL SEEMS EVERY TIME I LOOK AT A LIVE VID I SEE CLOTHES WASHING . MAYBE GEDDY HAS A CLEAN CLOTHES OCD FETISH. WHO KNOWS
The washers are just for looks. Kind of making fun of the giant wall of Marshalls. He switched out the washers for big chicken rotiserrie machines. Now you'll have to watch chickens spinning and cooking while you watch their vids!
Hey rickyon, March 1980 was about the same timeframe that DC101 broadcast the live Rush show recorded in St. Louis on February 14, 1980 (PW's Tour). Did you record that one too? I did, and my cassette tape finally broke about 15 years later from excessive wear. . .
Wazzup? Actually my cassette was labeled 3-28-80 Rush Live In St. Louis D.C.101. But what was on the tape was interviews with Neil Peart sprinkled with songs from albums and shows. This one was on there but it's from All The World's A Stage. The other side of the tape was also recorded from D.C. 101 and was labeled Foreigner Live Atlanta 3/30/80. It was as advertised. A King Biscuit Flower Hour show. I've posted a handful of songs from it. I don't know what became of the St. Louis show.
@rickyon Interesting, I'm guessing that the DC 101 broadcast of the 2/14/80 St. Louis show was on 3/28/80. I lived in Springfield, VA at the time and recorded it myself. Your cassette must have been recorded over with the Neil Peart/All The World's a Stage stuff. The DC101 broadcast of the St. Louis show was 1 hr 20 minutes long and contained gems such as this rendition of Natural Science: watch?v=fgLZynssDIU
I have a bootleg that I pulled from the web that is supposed to be the Valentines Day show in St. Louis. It is entitled "Taurus Pedals From Hell". It is evidently a very popular bootleg. I also have a tape recorded on 10/19/79 of Led Zeppelin LIve in LOndon from 1971 that I recorded from D.C.101. It apparently is an easily attainable bootleg from the web. Before the internet these were semi hard to find. Now they bare easily grabbed online.
Well you are a moron then! Check the info box, you'll see that all the info is from the live album that I supposedly "ripped off". Sometimes people who post things on you-tube leave out certain info so that their vids won't get pulled because of content ownership claims. I wouldn't expect a dimwit like you to get that but I did give you a chance.
What I said was perfectly clear. It is from the live album. I didn't put that in the info because I didn't want You-tube to disable it. Therefor I did not Rip it off.
Where do you see anything to the contrary? Check the dates and venue. If you don't know the reason why I did it this way then you should never try posting anything to you-tube!
Very nice. I saw the '76 tour in Montreal. They opened for Aerosmith and absolutely ate their lunch (I think that means what I'm trying to convey). Incredible band. Absolutely should be in the R&R HOF!
Trust me, if you look at the venue (Massey Hall) that is where ATWAS was recorded! Trust me if you look at the dates (June 11-13, 1976) those were the dates that ATWAS were recorded! I didn't put the name of the album there so that you-tube would not reject the post! Now do you trust me?!!!!
Are you from the D.C. area? I think I could post the interview segments. They are a bunch of short ones sprinkled with studio cuts and live performances. It's on a cassette tape so it may be a pain in the ass to get them lined up but I'll give it a try!....Rick
If you know where I can find lots of 1976 pictures of Rush then you will see a slideshow with only 1976 pictures! I use pictures from many different years to do all my slideshows. How many videos have you done? Oh that's right zero! HAHAHA!!!!
LMAO! Which means nothing;other than what a moron you are to relate that with anything of significance. And yeah there's TONS of places to find photos from that era.Try: Geoff Barton's "The Words and Pictures"vol.1&2, Brian Harrigan's "Rush," Gett's "Success Under Pressure," the Official bio "Visions" by the B-Man; and more recent Popoff''s"Contents Under Pressure" Let alone COUNTLESS mags that have covered that time:Billboard, Cheap Thrills, Circus, Creem, MD, Guitar Player/World,etc. DUMBASS!
Which means everything! Until you do even one video and only with pictures from that year then who are you to criticize anyone else. I've watched 1,000's videos of the slideshow variety on YT and a very small minority would fall under your parameters. For me it's all about the music and the pictures are a bonus. If you don't like them or the video doesn't meet your standards then either close your eyes or don't watch it at all. Also, try some civility. Calling people names gets you nowhere!
Great Song and memories. Grew up across the Lake from the Fellas. Still say this and back in 76. Lots of sound from three dudes.
