  • my brother and I just started watching this show recently... it's one of the worst series I've ever seen, which makes it awesome

  • You have got to be kidding terrible acting

  • yes i just know join the conversation

  • Mass radical!

I saw every episode of every season... when it first debuted.

  • i honestly think erin gray is one of the most beautiful women of the last 30 years.

  • I friggin loved this show!!! I tried to get this on dvd at Target and the sales person was like Who is Buck Rogers??? I almost died!!

  • What the hell do limeys know about Buck Rogers? Buck and Wilma are red blooded Americans. Stick to Dr. Who, fellas.

  • dam!!! last time i saw buck rogers i was 4 years old now im 28 years old & its still my favorite show, they should make a movie of Buck Rogers

  • Wilma is HOT! I think Buck & she should be an eternal marital situation. Your just gonna have to deal with it if I wed Lucifer, Michael or Satan.....or Planet X's great stuff. I loved Metatron & the Annunaki but i think I have been cut??????

  • Actually, Battlestar Galactica was written years before Star Wars, but the studios weren't very keen on starting filming until SW became a huge hit. Then, every studio wanted to produce sci-fi and we had Battlestar Galactica, Buck Rogers, Dune, Alien, Blade Runner, and others. And what's the problem with Buck Rogers getting special effects from Battlestar Galactica? 2 different shows that were fantastic, and I'm not ashamed to say I loved both...stop moaning! Enjoy.

  • Thanks so much for uploading this! I'm watching the 1st season on DVD at the moment and its totally worth its weight in gold; good fun guaranteed to make you laugh.

  • This was a pretty entertaining show back in the day. Gil Gerard was cool as Buck, and Erin Grey was great as Wilma Deering, and she was scorching HOT! She's in her Sixties and she is still beautiful.

  • Star Wars revived scifi and lead to shows like Buck Rogers and Battlestar Galactica to be created.

  • Do you remember Sesame Streets Snuffalopogas (sp?) & the phayllis of tweeky inspired that. The funny part is Buck had the script but he wasn't in on that blonde so when she turned around the reaction is REAL shock. It was a complete set joke caught live on cam!! So the behind scenes stuff is priceless...

  • It wasn't horrible acting. It was meant to be that cheesy. It came off precisely as wanted....for that time & era.

  • Buck Rogers is cool as hell! I love Jesus.

  • Best $16 I ever spent...but man, the second season sucked. Dr. Huer was way better than any of the new characters.

  • in uk this was released first as a movie- with the feature length pilot edited into a theatrical movie- the pilot was also shown on tv- wikipedia says the intros for both suggest the whole thing is a dream buck has whilst frozen! whats others thoughts on this?

  • @proteus51000 thoughts on what

  • Wilam was so hot back then !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • More of Erin Grey and Glen Larson since they are the only ones who have anything interesting to say about Buck Rogers. The tongue and cheek commentary from those high mighty Brits is very lame and so typical.

  • I am not ashamed to say that I LOVED this show. and got the DVD set last year.

  • Man, this was such a cool show. I remember watching it along with Battlestar Galactica. It was like a Star Wars TV series.

  • Holy heck! Is that Erin Gray as she looks today?? She has aged incredibly well.

  • Just my opinion of coarse, but as far as seventies sex icons Erin Grey is definitely one deserving of that title beautiful and able to handle herself as well.

  • lucky buck is back... biggy biggy biggy biggy biggy,

  • I don't get what some of these people think. Gil was much better as Buck than Burt Renolds would've ever been, and if you think Twiki is annoying then what about Jar Jar Binks?

  • @germanicelt Burt Reynolds??? I don't think so. I totally agree, GIL was the much better choice for this role.

  • @4:26 - more like straight between the legs.

  • Love Buck!!! Glad he's back!!!!!!!!

  • Buck Rogers owns all.

  • i liked twinki. lol.

  • I liked the first season of buck in the 25th century

but I was'nt wild about the season one bit

  • I loved BUCK ROGERS as a kid, BUCK ROGERS was the bomb back in the Fall of 1979 and in the Spring of 1980 & this show takes me all the way back to memory lane to my childhood days of when I was 7 years old in the 1st grade.

  • @100572a yes, watching these old clips of Buck Rogers brings back many fond memories. The only regret is I really wish the show would have had a longer run than it had.

  • I wish this show had a longer run than it had too @Findyoursanctuary, but at the same time I can see why it didn't last very long and why this show flopped after only 2 seasons since this show just wasn't the same when it hit its 2nd Season in the Winter of 1981 since they made too many changes in the 2nd Season which contributed to plummeting ratings.

  • The Buck Rogers series was sort of an American equivelent of Dr. Who, but not not nearly as good.

  • @Albacorewing Well to be fair... I only liked the 1979 movie version of Buck Rogers way more than the TV show & for good reasons.

    -R78

  • @Rodimus78 I loved the attractive women, especially Erin Grey in the show.

  • @Albacorewing BTW, you've compared this show to Dr. Who? I thought it's Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure that deserves the mantle.

    -R78

  • @Rodimus78 I do not know; I did not watch Excellent Adventure. I always loved Dr. Who though as he always had a great-looking babe with him.

  • I liked the show but couldnt get over that they borrowed alot of stuff (sound effects) etc. from battle star galactica.

  • They had the same writers/ producers.

  • @sixstringb71

really ? 'cos that made me love the show even more back then

  • How come those Brits all look like the mutants from Buck Rogers themselves ?

  • @jbravo41 You obviously fuck your dad tosser!

  • I have no guilt in saying I like Buck Rogers. Its just a pleasure for me. I can't believe more people are guilty about liking the Transformers movies. Those are bad for all the wrong reasons.

  • *aren't guilty is what I mean to say.

  • That robot was my favourite thing about this show. Though yes, he is a little gobshite

  • what are you doing? It's called 'getting down'! what a cock ha

  • "Swept everyone off their feet" - Damn straight!

This iteration of Buck Rogers is Genius!

Bring back the Sci-Fi fun, I say!

  • this looks fucking shit

  • bidybidybidy

  • I like the fat balding nerdy englishman who could not hook girl even in his best dreams who calls Gil Gerard a walking plank of wood. Maybe he is married to Connie Selleca after she divorced Gil? Nah!!!

  • "When do you get off duty? All three of you, I mean."

Jack Harkness would love her. :D

  • I think Gil Gerard was a great choice opposite all of those gorgeous, intense gals. He appeared to navigate all of that sexuality with perfect control.

  • Twiki may have been a bit annoying sometimes, but what about Crichton?!

  • I wanted to pull Crighton's power-pack!

  • Speaking of Battlestar Galactica, Buck's Starfighter design was originally a Viper design for Galactica but was not chosen. Luckily it was used in Buck Rogers. I think it was a much cooler design than the Vipers.

  • FUCK you to the FUCKHEAD who says gil gerard is wooden and burt reynlods woulda been better FUCK YOU gil gerard KICKS FUCKING ASS

  • Amazing show! One of the best. Fun romps around the galaxy!

  • Satanic Masterpiece.

  • I loved this series... It was so bad that it was great. ;-)

  • Cheesy- yes. terribly dated--yes. horrible acting--yes.

    Friggin awsome classic show--YES!!!!!!!

    i love BUCK ROGERS!!!!!

i too was barly 8 and i wanted to bang wilma and ardala-- they were THAT hot i tell you. its insane how hot they were.

Oh how i wish this show would be updated today with the chessey heart of the show..

  • @masonTganes it was good for it's time

  • @lovejen01 you realize i left my comment over 2 yrs ago right?

  • Critisize all u want, it was and is still one my favorite shows, way better ,compared to new shows like battle star galactica or star trek new generation crap.

  • lol... pure evil lol..

  • I was only 8 years old when this hit the air and I knew back then Ardala was hot.

  • Comment removed

  • Who played the red-hot nad sexy princess Ardala? Just ordered the series on DVD.

  • Pamela Hensley.

Look for Amanda Wyss (Nightmare on Elm Street), and a girl from Halloween, and a few other acresses including Eddie Benton (Ann Marie Martin).

  • Buck looks like gorge bush a bit. Acts like him any way

  • the sound and special effects remind me of Battlestar Galactica.

  • The ship in 1:37 looks like a x-wing fighter. Was Lucas influenced but Buck Rogers?

  • This came after Star Wars, it was cashing in on Lucas' success.

The ship, however that you're referring to I believe is a Draconian Fighter, it must be the angle cause it looks nothing like an X-Wing.

  • I thought it looked more like a Z-95 Headhunter actually. Keep in mind that John Sykstra and XAOS did the effects of Buck Rogers and Battlestar Galactica for Glen Larson. Dykstra worked on the effects of Star Wars so he was in obvious high demand at the time. Even some of the effects were re-used. The launch tube sequence from battlestar was in Buck Rogers, they just flipped it upside down.

  • Oh Colonel! When I was 8 you were the perfect woman, when I'm 98 you'll STILL be the perfect woman! I salute you!

  • give me a link to top 10 sci fi 2007,2008,2009

  • Bi-di-bi-di-bi-di-bi-di-bi... Always, always split my sides when I hear that these days. What were they thinking?

  • Probably the WORST sci-fi series ever...just a little worse than the original Battlestar, but at least more entertaining because it was campy. Blake's 7 should have had its budget.

  • WilmAAAAAaaaaahhhh....

Even hotter than the sex pixie in Enterprise lol ;)

  • Great review. I always liked the show but ...this is hillarious. Anyway Gil Gerard was still hot.

  • 2:38 como sigue la pelea ???

  • "who in the rings of your anus . . . " hehe

  • roger monete XD

  • Another Wilma lover here.

  • 1987 was the year that star trek TNG first aired, amazing Coincidence.

  • Explains were the skin tights cat suites on star trek Voyager and Ent came from.

  • Erin Gray STILL looks hot... the show was good/bad? who cared abut story, you would watch that show with the sound off and enjoy it almost as much. ALL the hot chics, don't forget Markie Post in boots and spandex... bring it back!

  • loved her on Night Court; I had ideas about her and I wasn't sure where they were coming from!

  • it was the best...what are these people talkin about.......got it on dvd....its still brill.....

  • Ah, Jane Badler and Adrienne Barbeau. That would be nice!

  • Flat? Blasphemy.

  • Wow. I never realized how flat Wilma's ass was.

  • Erin had that sexy voice as Wilma Deering...

  • Rock meets dance and an old science fiction movie:

    watch?v=vfwvnS3QPUU

  • Wow! Who knew there were so many other Buck Rogers fans out there? I always thought I was the only one. Thank you YouTube and all the awesome vid clips! Keep 'em coming!

  • More sausage please!!! Buck wasn't just for Mums, I was a girl in elementary school and he looked pretty tasty to me.

  • LOL

  • ...and I was a 7-9 year old boy and Wilma made me hit puberty early.

  • I so had the hots for Erin Gray as a little boy. There were many a night when I would dream I was Buck Rogers just so that Wilma would be my gal!

  • Haha, I used to imagine I was in Buck Rogers when I went to bed so I could be with Wilma.

  • Gil Gerard was RAD as Buck Rogers. To me he's Buck Rogers.

  • This is pretty clever. :)

  • Erin aged well. She STILL looks hot.

  • she does indeed

  • yeah...her and Jane Badler. 2 fine hot tamales of 80s sci-fi. And if you don't know who Jane Badler is, please...let me know.

  • she was Diana from V, personally i prefered Julie Parish, but if you don't know V you won't know who i mean!! smart AND fit, my kind of totty, next to scully from X files!!!

  • Erin is indeed hot.

  • Well I finally got to see this without it stopping, lol. High Speed Internet at someone's house is always nice! This is interesting. Thanks for sharing. Cool to see Erin!

  • Ever notice how the rope dancing in the space criuse episode was the same as the rope dancing on Battlestar Galactica?

  • A lot of Buck Rogers is from Galactica

  • Brilliant intro. Resembles Jimmy Page going from "White Summer" into "Kashmir".
