@Mrway2swift The problem with the PS3 is that it lacks a decent devkit. I have a friend who worked for EA and he said the devs were always bitching about how hard it is to program for the PS3 as compared to the 360, Wii or PC. Likely because of it's 8-core processing setup - most people can only handle 2-4 things simultaneously, so conceptualizing 8-thread programs is difficult.

Plus, having a pre-release devkit that used industrial grade fan cooling and required a forklift to move didn't help

@AltFKill No, not better. More artistic. MW2's graphics are sharper and more detailed, but they go for realism, which means it has to compete with what we actually see - not possible without supercomputer equipment.

Killzone 2 goes for artistic designs. The tech level of every object in the game is enough that we're willing to accept that's what it should look like. Plus, everyone has a mask, so you don't need to worry about facial animation, which is a nightmare. We know faces too well.
