I was speechless, when my german shepherd dixie died in 2006 at age of 10 because of some hip problem as she was old, it was sad and devastating, just as much as we hate doctors, sometimes vets are not the best
hopefully the next dog doesnt die.. you should always have money put aside for emergancies, you never know what could happen. vets are expensive even putting a couple dollars in a bank everyday, money adds up. good luck with your new dog, clean the water! :)

I read over the description in the video, and everything that happened to your beautiful dog sounds exactly like what recently happened to our family dog, a yellow lab. All of the symptoms are the exact same, right down to the bacterial infection being the first diagnosis, and along with medicine stopping it for a while. The vets final diagnosis for us was cancer. Anyway, I hope you are doing fine. It always hurts to lose a pet.

my german shepherd dog hes only 7 months turnin 8 months on the 10 of aug. and his teeth ore curled back that means he tears things apart and he is protective to me more in the family becuz im 12 and a girl. when i get sick he helps me alot sometimes he even licks me in the face when i cry and have a fever. hes so protective that once when a dude pushed me he ran up to him and tour his skin apart and left a blood mark and a little of his skin was gone i was surprised becuz he is only 7 months

I have one old girl myself, 11 year old Rose, (border collie) it will brake my heart when I one day loose her. Just the thought of it makes me loose my breath... my gsd almost died , but then we tried a home made ointment
youghurt plain + isabgol (a little medicine for tummy) .
i gave this to my gsd and he got better after that . GSD have very sensative tummy .
im sorry but i do not support putting down dogs , do we put down humans like that . NO .

my german shepherd dog hes only 7 months turnin 8 months on the 10 of aug. and his teeth ore curled back that means he tears things apart and he is protective to me more in the family becuz im 12 and a girl. when i get sick he helps me alot sometimes he even licks me in the face when i cry and have a fever. hes so protective that once when a dude pushed me he ran up to him and tour his skin apart and left a blood mark and a little of his skin was gone i was surprised becuz he is only 7 months

I'm sitting with tears in my eyes as I write this. That description could not have been more beautiful. I have one old girl myself, 11 year old Rose, (border collie) it will brake my heart when I one day loose her. Just the thought of it makes me loose my breath... But she is one happy old girl! love her!!! <3 And my toughts are with you.. Shelby is in a better place where she's running down the fields all her other friends! I sure miss my Cody. I had to put him down last year. Boy that hurt, but it was the best thing to do.GS's are the best dog in my opinion.
