I drive high whenever I smoke, and you actually become a much better driver. See, you'd think it'd impair you (and it does slightly), but as a trade-off you become easily some ten times more alert. When stoned and driving you don't focus on anything but the road and all possible dangers. It's like being a Nascar driver, nothing exists besides the road to a stoner. I drive exactly 1 mph under the speed limit every time, and maintain that speed perfectly. Alcohol is much worse.
With alcohol, you get drunk, watch sports, pass out. and go to work on monday. With weed you get high and possibly wonder why your still a tax paying slave and try to figure out how to live without the government raping you.

There are so many harmful chemicals in the production on cigarettes that I think they will always be worse than weed. The filters only do so much and only reduce some of these chemicals. Of course, tobacco is the only one you could safely drive after taking lol.

i'm sure business has everything to do with it. The damage is slightly different though. Booze is poison. Smokes are cause cancer and messes with your brain chemistry. Just like caffeine. Weed is hardcore on adjusting your brain chemistry. Hence the high. Depending on how your body reacts to it, you could end up with depression. The other two can kill you. weed isn't harsh on your brain. unlike harder drugs, cannabinoids and THC don't have to force their way into your brain. the brain's natural cannabinoid receptors take in the compounds just like they do with the bodys natural endocannabinoids. morphine and MDMA for example force their way into serotonin receptors causing damage along the way. put down the cigarette, spark up a blunt. the only studies that show negative effects are ones that are funded by the government and corporations.
however, as a disclaimer, it should be stressed that people with addictive personalities will abuse weed. The substance does not have addictive properties, however, personality disorders are swayed by marijuana's psychomimetic properties. But I agree fully that for people without preexisting chemical imbalances and personality disorders, weed is a nonissue. same can be said about anything from gambling to velour material. haha.

Marijuana was first made illegal was because hemp was a cheaper, renewable substance used to make fibers for jeans, hemp seed oil was the first fuel for the diesel engine, and pharmacies don't want you growing your own medicine. I happened to be one of those who were given clarity from smoking weed, but once my chemistry rebalanced, I was no longer.
Now I don't even like the stuff. Can't enjoy it, I no longer get the clarity I once did - I just get cloudy, which isn't why I smoked.
So I stopped and haven't looked back. Marijuana is what rebalanced me, but I do miss the high.
The body is very complex, and not everyone is the same.

Different strokes for different folks. Who cares what other people do as long as it doesn't harm anyone else? i actually know a pilot who smokes weed. I've met a policeman who smoked pot, but quit due to the drug test. I don't blame people for not smoking because of a job. Money changes everything. I know people that have smoked pot their entire lives without related illness. Can't say the same for alcohol or cigarettes. It is a fact that alcohol and cigs kill over 400,000 yr.

As for drug tests, that's mainly in the US and part of their 'zero tolerance' campaign. Businesses get a break on insurance if they test. Just another way for big brother to control you. I live in Canada where they rarely drug test.

Cannabis has received a bad press for about 70 years, ever since oil based plastics were patented in the US. I guess they didn't want the competition from hemp based plastics and also hemp fuels. Tobacco and Alcohol are far worse for you, yet they aren't banned.

There are so many harmful chemicals in the production on cigarettes that I think they will always be worse than weed. The filters only do so much and only reduce some of these chemicals. Of course, tobacco is the only one you could safely drive after taking lol.

The ad is also a lie. Research indicates that Chronic canabis consumers (several joints a day for many many days) recover their complete mental acuity after approximately 7 days. Casual users are typically fine after a few hours.

i'm sure business has everything to do with it. The damage is slightly different though. Booze is poison. Smokes are cause cancer and messes with your brain chemistry. Just like caffeine. Weed is hardcore on adjusting your brain chemistry. Hence the high. Depending on how your body reacts to it, you could end up with depression. The other two can kill you. There's way more detail, but this is already of doing it.

weed isn't harsh on your brain. unlike harder drugs, cannabinoids and THC don't have to force their way into your brain. the brain's natural cannabinoid receptors take in the compounds just like they do with the bodys natural endocannabinoids. morphine and MDMA for example force their way into serotonin receptors causing damage along the way. put down the cigarette, spark up a blunt. the only studies that show negative effects are ones that are funded by the government and corporations.

The substance does not have addictive properties, however, personality disorders are swayed by marijuana's psychomimetic properties. But I agree fully that for people without preexisting chemical imbalances and personality disorders, weed is a nonissue. same can be said about anything from gambling to velour material. haha.

Marijuana was first made illegal was because hemp was a cheaper, renewable substance used to make fibers for jeans, hemp seed oil was the first fuel for the diesel engine, and pharmacies don't want you growing your own medicine. What better way to eliminate the competition than to make their product illegal?
