hi, why do u prefer FHI over cheaper flat iron brands. i'll be willing to buy the expensive brand but before i do i want to make sure it is absolutly nessesary. can some one buy a cheper brand and get the same results as long as it is %100 ceremic plates not coated.
@Shalayah2010 Yes it is safe on any type of hair and being relaxed or natural doesn't determine your results with any product and hair most definitely does not grow more when hair is relaxed but it is easier to see when it is straight than when it is kinky. If it is natural your growth will be more evident when you flat iron

@sportsFANattic87 You don't need to stop perming your hair for it to grow, but if you do want healthy hair..... stretch your relaxers, which means you stretch the time intervals between your relaxers. Stretching is usually anything beyond 10 weeks, for example I am 24 weeks post relaxer, however be sure to DEEP CONDITION OFTEN because your hair is prone to breakage but will be much thicker and healthier if this is incorporated in your regimen.

@holmesc1 i know you werent asking me persay....but i would suggest goin completely natural.. although it is possible to have health relaxed hair, it is very difficult. esp if you dont have time to go to the salon and get deep conditions and things of tht nature. imo perming hair esp if you do it every 6-8 wks its almost as if youre taking two steps foward and three steps back

@Lafiesta07 I've been taking Nioxin for about 5 mos. I just bought my 3rd bottle this week. I've noticed positive results around the 2nd bottle. I didn't notice any side effects other than having to shave more frequently than before. LOL But no breakouts like I get when I take Biotin...I can only take that maybe 1 or 2 a week otherwise my acne gets out of control. Curious about this hairfinity!
The vitamins made me break , and yes I drink about 4 to 5 16 oz bottles of water everyday even without taking vitamins..I now take prenatals that work much better and in smaller dozes of biotin

@jjken22 and @krm2204 I totally agree with krm2204. I'd wake up in the morning dizzy, get out of bed, & fall on the floor when I was taking those vitamins. Then I would just sit on the floor until I came back to. Smh. But my hair did get thicker & I noticed some growth. NOT A LOT but it was still noticeable. My nails grew much faster though. I say look at the ingredients & find a product with the same ingredients that is a little cheaper. GNC & CVS have good ones. beware.hair grows everywhere.
@jjken22 Also, I truly believe it changed my curl pattern. I know it makes hair thicker but I didn't expect it to make my curls tighter/kinkier. You don't have to worry about that if you get relaxers though. And if you're a natural who straightens your hair often like me, you don't have to worry about that either.
