If god really would exist, and if turn into a rockstar, im pretty sure he make this music. But He doesnt exist so we got Tv on the radio.... Thank God!
This is the type of music you play when you have good food, good freinds, and good times. makes you enjoy life, makes you just want to sit back and listen.
@nimbuscld Exactly, I try telling my friends that but it seems that people who believe conspiracy theories are not capable of thinking too logically...
The group that makes these videos, or the one guy, don't remember who or what it was. But amazing. The song is amazing as well. I think the "oh body mind" part is one of my favorites. But the tune is catchy and the beat is great, and it melds perfectly with the video. Awesome job, gems like these are far and few in between!
Hey everyone. Id really love to hear your thoughts on my new song called Polka for my solo project Glacierbrain. TVoR are a massive influence on my music writing as are bands like Radiohead, Wolf Parade and Explosions in the Sky.
If you wanna support some unsigned music please swing by and let me know what you think :D
close your curtains... put your headphones... turn it up... quiet your mind... listen to the lyrics... close your eyes and let your head sway... get ready... sing along with the ooh ooh ooh... and jump up and do your all by yourself dance... this is your moment!
oooo ooo oo o oo o ooo oo o o o o o ooo ooo ooooo oo o Every lover on a mission shift your known position into the light ooo ooo ooo ooo ooo ooo oooo Every diamond elemental you are instrumental to the light oooo ooo ooo oo ooo oo oo oo oooo Every sonic evolution make your contribution to the light ooo ooo ooo ooo ooo ooo Every lover on a mission shift your known position to the light!
I actually know Till Lindman and you would be suprised to know he does not write all hisown lyrics.
The problem is that Rammstein destorys the poetry with sexualized reliving of their history of child abuse and molestation--they exploit their own music to make people react violently.
That is not music--especially not Till Lindmans voice which sounds like a drunk chain smoking crackhead.
I am right--Second Song is how real music should be produced and shown--as with Interpol. Too bad ....
Need more lyrics like this to make the intelligent brain work the way its supposed to--intricate lyrics and instruments. This is music that you LISTEN to--and your brain has to work to hear it and undertand it. Its makes your brain better-not bigger.
The sad thing is most people just enjoy garbage like Rammstein or Lady Gaga--bang bang bang and in your head quickly-no thoughts necessary-and major headache next morning.
@taraannrose Just for the record, I do MOSTLY agree with your comment. Almost all modern music follows one simple rule: to rhyme. Most music no longer has any meaning and is just produced to appease the masses. But the main reason I chose to type this is because Rammstein is not one of those bands. If you translate a couple of their songs (NOT BUCK DICH) you'll see that Till actually gets really deep with his lyrics. Try listening to Ohne Dich or Stein um Stein.
"may i illuminate the nameless faceless saints of these art and open graves"
their saying everything get with the light :
"o body mind, leave me behind... while u defy ur heartless crimes ill defend my love forever" i mean it sounds like some illuminatti shit dude listen to that line
i mean then the 3 rings at the end and shit the dude looks like a demon all the damn triangles i see in their videos man
also gerard just died iono man i think they on some illuminatti shit man theres proof there
@nebelhorst yea i know man they are my favorite band and i think all that conspiracy shit is fake/real/whatever but i was just makin connections u feel me. i dont think their bad but those coencidences are somethin else....
@linkchart04 i think they want to enlight us, where as the illuminati try to keep their secrets, what ever they may be. have you seen the full movie jet? and are you sure it´s "art and open dreams"? sounds like "odd and open dreams" to me.
@linkchart04 The New World Order conspiracy is old and tired and absolute bullshit. Seriously.
I'm sort of sick of people saying that creative artists like TV on the Radio have "illuminati-like" lyrics or imagery in their songs. TVotR have always had flowery language and crazy shit going on in their songs.
I'm not trying to make you feel bad or anything, but I find conspiracy theories are just another way of pulling wool over peoples' eyes. Don't buy into that shit. Think for yourself.
@Faceblind people does not even have to brain to think about what you said just now. no matter how CLEAR you make it to most people they will not understand.
am i the only one who b hearin some illuminatti shit in some songs and in the album are to like almost all their albums. then this nine types of light. iono i just always wonder about tv man cause they are subliminal about the illuminatti cause they fuckin are man just take note to it. but they been my favorite band since i was young man im just sayin ive always noticed it but i mean iono this is some illuminatti shit lol i mean look at the lyrics man and the album name cmon open ur eyes
Any ideas on what this animation is made of? It looks like wax to me, maybe. Whatever it is, they did some phenomenal work with it. Great video, great song, great album, and the band... THE BAND! Tunde, please make my babies.
It's interesting how structurally similar this opening song is to Halfway Home, the opening song on Dear Science. There's the relatively minimal opening verse, featuring Tunde's laid back vocals, which leads into a heavy groove that builds in layers and gets heavier, until an epic chorus ensues.
The repeat listen factor is also very similar - I can't stop listening to it!
@molecul3 - We saw them play a bit ago in Baltimore. "Oh, man, I guess Gerard couldn't make this tour." We hadn't been keeping track :-( Sad to hear of his passing, and thoughts are with his friends and family.
Unholy hell, bought the album a Tuesday, and I can't get past this song! My fingers just can't tap the 'next' button, the tune is hypnotic, the lyrics enthralling, and it all just meshes so well into something like an aural seizure. Dammit by the time I finish typing this I'll be singing it again!!
