iight well i don't get baten kaitos at all, like i own the game but didn't get very far. Even play the game i didn't understand anything, but from all your votes it confused me more lol, like wtf what kind of plot is it to have a girl with an ocean in her, a huge whale of some sort and im guessing the probably lowerd the continents. But i do have to admit it is a pretty damn epic game from what ive seen and played, just confusing ish.

im not much of a gamer but i found the ending to be pretty epic..other than the super cheesy gathering thing at the very end. for me xelha coming back to life was actually really heartening :P

and WTF IS UP WITH GELDOBLAME LOL! his head pops out of no where and he does like 100 damage. HAHA!! SOO RANDOM

and what happens at the very end after the credits? i still have my game cube turned on, waiting for something to happen..

I personally think the ending is fine as it is. To continue the game to try and "bring back Xelha" is a dead idea. Peace was restored, Malpercio is gone- what more is there for the story to hold on to? Just to save a girl that had the ocean inside her? =/ Don't think so. It would be a dead deal unless they had a witty plot to go with it, which most video game makers try to do. It's old and used far too much. A simply happy ending never hurts anyone. <3

I hate that xhella is revived. No, I love her character, and Kalas+Xhella is nice, but the way they did it felt so weak and contrived. It's like, the last 5 seconds of the game and she pops out and -woah!- everyone's happy. The end. I'm not necessarily against her staying alive, but it would've been more emotional if she had stayed dead.

monolith could made a sequel and revive her halfway through the game in a plot twist that makes sense. That might still be fanservice but it would be cooler.

Totally agree. Better ending: Xelha dies for real, the party helps Kalas find the strength to go on, and the game ends as he sets out into the ocean to search for the Whale, keeping his promise to Fee and finding a way to bring Xelha back. Sure, some people would have complained that it was inconclusive, but it would have been far more powerful and would have encouraged Monolith to make a sequel as well.

Xelha's pendant. The game doesn't really "end" here: Xelha is revived by the Whale through the pendant, or something, and she and Kalas have a cute moment before everyone says goodbye to you. It's kinda Disney, which may be why this video is cut off, but I didn't mind it much.

Yeah I know, alot of people critique that Xhella came back. But I have to admit, while I was a TAD (very very very) small amount dissapointed when she came back, I LOVED the whole Kalas Xhella couple thing and the truth is that if she hadn't come back, it would have actually depressed me. Games shouldnt do that lol. In other words, I agree

après avoir fait Baten Kaitos 2, je pense que ce n'est pas Geldoblame, mais Wiseman, qui a pris possession de l'empereur, comme il l'a fait pour Verus... en moins classe.

Les doublages sont... mauvais par rapport à BK2.

Well...because I believed even after Xelha released the curse of Malpercio, the Dark Brethren's curse still lived. Until Xelha died and cleased the earth (Wings of the Heart) and all evil. In Baten Kaitos Origins *Prequel*

Wings of the heart was founded by Wiseman. Who is evil Just like the Dark Brethren. I somehow do believed when Melodia killed Geldoblame, It was then that the Dark Brethren also took over Geldoblame's body. Just like Wiseman took advantage of Verus' body.

Everybody in the Ice Lands dresses extremely bizzaire even for Baten Kaitos. YOu have Xelha's puffy pants, Barnette looking like a Disney villain, and Catrinne....well look at her, the girl's wearing a giant chicken suit.

I'm still kind of annoyed how they don't have a real expanation why Geldablame came back in the end. The relationship between Kalas and Xelha could have been 10 times better. But this game is still awesome.

MAN, you skiped the spirit spell!!, with this, you would finished him that time!( a spirit spell is certain death on this match, this is the reason of the bound between you and kalas, if you~re higher in that, you can finish the battle sooner)

Yeah, it was the same. Xelha comes back to life after though, for me anyway. You're slow in battles. Nice fire effect. You should have picked the bottom option, "No, I won't do it!" Jerk...
