  • is there any laser cutting technology available to cut up to 100mm steel bar?

  • @vnffe there is, and it's called plasma

  • How do you prevent the laser from cutting all the way through?

  • @TonyODonnell01 you adjust it's power

  • Can I get a hand held version of this laser?

  • Is this in real time?

  • sick music video

  • About how much approx. does Marks Brother charge laser cutting per hour ?

Or do you charge the parts/products?

I just start learning about tolerancing and our teacher keep talking about machining and laser cutting. So I got quite curious a bit.

  • 4:11 mission failed

  • @wilosony At 4:11 the laser was engraving, not cutting. It has capabilities to do both. Hence, there was no failure.

  • shit, I just spend 30 minutes watching this... hate replay button.

  • 'watched' only for music d(^^,)b

  • Alguien sabe quien es el músico de este tema musical?

  • Nice musical accompaniment.

  • amazing!

  • Sweeeeeeeet! I love high power lasers! That laser looks awesome!

  • I would just cut crap to watch it work.

  • hmmm is it realy that fast ? kinda unreal

  • Smooth jazz makes everything better.

  • omg this is so beautlful,

  • Unreal, way too fast. The pieces fell down too fast.

  • but will it blend?

  • I WILL PURCHASE ONE FOR ME!!!

  • One of the best laser cutting videos. Very impressive. Are you using pure oxygen to cut thick carbon steel or just compressed air or nitrogen?

  • wich my saw was like this

  • www_customlaserinc

    In Ida Park NY

    Custom Laser

  • Custom Laser has one...

    Awesome

  • Porn for metalworkers. But try that on 80mm steel. :P Plasma>Laser.

  • @Mp57navy

    Yep

  • i find this hard to masturbate to

  • Great video show casing totally AWESOME capabilities.

  • AWESOME

  • Like a BOSS!!

  • C02 ...YAG would never hold that power, damn fast i run a Platino 4kw daily but that rotary is somewhat impressive

  • i can do this with my eyes !

  • Beautifull...what is the max depth cut of material on stainless steel? also what is the price of this beast?....cheers D

  • this without any doubt the best laser company in the world.

  • That's accurate to the max

  • wow very good machine fast and precise, this machine are YAG or CO2?

  • wow!much better than my plasma cutting machine!amazing precision!very clean cuts!

  • i will put my annoying sister there...

  • I am an operator on one of theese lasertubes from Adige (BLM group) I am right now on a newer machine with automatic rear mandrel, A simple pusch on a button and youre clear to change from tubular to rectangular profiles in notime. The challenge Is the parameters. We have 10 lasertube machines from adige were two Is the newer fibrelasers. thanks fo uploading..

  • what is it making??????

  • thats an awesome cutter

  • 2.5KW (2500 watts)

  • HOW MANY Watts?

  • o yeah... that's no problem at all... we can go all the way down to .010" thick with oxy... and then use nitrogen with we cut material that's less than .010" down to .001" thick.

  • I've been programming and operating lasers for 25 years and still love the job. I usually can't wait to go to work in a morning. Can you cut 0.05mm mild steel using oxy as the assist gas?

  • that was awesome.

  • Strangely relaxing video lol the music helps

  • i would be the first stupid fucker to put that thing in my eye.

  • @hellow533 i bet that would hurt

  • wut the hell is it cutting

  • its beauty!

  • How the hell did u get to lazer carving??? O.o i was just on fail blogs thing... <.<

  • holy shit that's awesome lol

  • uygiug

  • are they making random disins or something

  • a MetallicA video brought me here, i ended up watching a few minutes of this for some reason

  • stupid !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Wow cutting metal CAN be erotic.

  • What kind of steel is this?

  • In the video the machine is cutting carbon steel, stainless steel and aluminum.

  • lol amazing!!!

  • what a amazing machine

  • dear santa....

  • like butter

  • Can I get a tattoo with this?

  • cuts like butter awesome ,and so quick to.....

  • Great Machine where do you purchase these machines from?

  • From the "BLM GROUP" and "BYSTRONIC"

  • @allaluminium thats some solid work

  • would it cut human hand off or just burn it

  • HELLO, MR BOND...

  • @CONTROSTATO

    Goldfinger?!?!

  • i only have one word to say ....just AWESOME!!!

  • Yes it is!

  • how come the laser didn't affect the other side??

  • Because of how the "FOCAL POINT" is set... The focal point is set so that the density of the laser is only focused for the thickness of the material.

  • @MarksBrothersInc

owh... i see,,tq. thats a very good information.

  • This is so awsome.

I kept watching the whole time

  • @masterpj55 me too!!

  • i can watch that the whole day.

  • This laser is so sexy ..

  • I know now that was how Moses carved out the Ten Comandments on Stone.

  • Man, my country still does not have this machine!!! :(

  • Check out Lasercut Pro we cut all different types of materials.

  • How awesome is that? I've worked CNC mill and lathe and even a lathe combo mill and it just isn't quite as fun to watch as that is.

  • @wolfie83 no, no there not

  • so that would be a class IV laser right

  • Yes it would be

  • The music is perfect! :D great Video! now i want one.

  • hi, what is the running cost for this machine as compared to the flying-shear shearing method per inch run? of course leaving it's complex profile capability aside...

  • if i ever come into alot of money .... ill have one of these. until then. ill just keep cutting everything by hand :-/

  • very very nice machine what does the one shown cost and what is the wait status for one .

  • about $1 Mil and 6 month wait...

  • 3/ 16 to 1/4 wall thickness

when it cuts is there any scale left behind , TIGGING the joints together with argon covering gas.

noticed it made a t joint at 45 -45 with bevel for welding in place, can the machine cut 4340

chromemoly 1 1/16 tubing wall thickness .125 roll cage material

  • Yeah that would be no problem to cut...

  • can the laser cut holes that have the tolerance for tapping say 1/4 28 fine in stanless steel

dose the laser have a duty cycle.

  • I need to know what size the pipe or tube is and what the wall thickness is.

  • so precise but what stops it cutting right through?

  • @DejiJoshua If i recall correctly this is a carbon dioxide controlled heat laser, so the heat should be contained by the same principles that is heating the planet ;)

  • @sp4zzer Ty very accurate comment (y)

  • @DejiJoshua the focus on a laser is not very far at best, many of the one i use are for micromachining and there focus range is usually 100-260nm

  • i want one!

  • it's scribing / marking at 4:11 isn't it? how clean are the results from that? we have a brand new plastic / wood laser table at a local learning centre for school kids to have a go on, but the marking on the plastic is horrible (to me). I can see the pulse marks and it's no where near smooth

  • 2400kw continuous would be one mighty impressive laser :D the national ignition facility would probably buy it off you. i bet welding pipe that comes of that is so nice, having everything just slot together perfectly, like mechano but even better. i want to have an extruded enclosure cut on one of these, so I don't need to start using drills or punches. now i need to find someone who can do prototypes and low volumes (tens as opposed to thousands)

  • I like this video . I watch it often. Great.

  • Very nice, technology never ceases to amaze me!

  • Is it real speed? What's the width of the laser?

  • Yes that is real speed, the video has NOT been sped up. It's fast isn't it! The actual width of the laser beam is about .007" wide and can hold tolerances of +/-.005".

  • @MarksBrothersInc That's really cool. In zantrua's answer you talk about 2400kw, you meant 2.4kw(2400w), right? You fill the 6m of pipe directly to the machine, without previous cutting? Can it cut 10mm thick with the same precision? Does it have focus adjustment? Sorry for so many questions. bye bye

  • Yes 2.4kw (2400w). We can do 3/8" wall in carbon but it depends on the diameter of the tube. We can't cut anything over 6' Diameter on that tube laser but on our other tube laser we can laser up to 10" diameter x 1/2" wall carbon tube. We can also laser cut up to 1.25" thick carbon, 1" thick staniless steel and 5/8" thick aluminum. Yes there is a focus adjustment on the laser beam

  • Its so hypnotic!!

  • laser guns are next

  • amazing

  • Beautifull technology !

  • What is the power level on this device? It looks like it's over 9000.

  • Our TUBE LASER is only 2400kw and our 5 AXIS LASER is 4000kw.

  • @zantrua 9000 of what? :p

  • @zantrua WHAT! 9000!

  • does the laser not damage the metal on the other face once it has cut through?

  • No it doesn't... We determine the depth or the focal point at which the laser is no longer hot enough to cut through the other side of tube but hot enough to cut through the top side.

  • What machine is being used here?

  • It's a "LASER" that cut through all types of steel tubes with exact precision.

  • does it exist a laser gun, that is used as a weapon?

( can't find any, but strange if it's not, when it can cut metal)..

  • Comment removed

  • I wonder why people think they are dangerous XD

  • @TeensFoLife Ya.. it's only cutting through metal.. no big deal.. Not as if it's powerful enough to cut through skin o.o

  • I really want that machine!!!! How much?

  • Fantasic ,,,but is this footage speed up or is this real time???????

  • LOL... Its funny how many people think the same thing but this video is shot in real time. I'm not good enough to try and speed the video up.

  • i want one ! :) <3

  • Terrific video, the music was distracting but the demo was excellent. Thank you for posting.

  • how many units could this do per day, of average 5 holes 10 cuts?

  • probably 750-1000 parts if not way more. Just depends on size and type of material and size of cutouts.

  • im in love :D

  • I have some 200 micron holes i want done in mild steel the thickness is 1mm ,can you do?

  • What size of hole? The material being almost .040" thick we generally couldn't laser cut any hole that is under .030" in diameter...

  • How does it hold up against do gooders trying to foil your evil plans?

  • noobs ..this isnt a laser...its plasma

  • Nope... Sorry bud... It's a laser... big difference

  • @zelimper awww u suck

  • @zelimper your calling a company that OWN and operate a state of the art, highly complex machine a "noob". absolute twat.

  • how dose it hold up against titanium

  • It does just fine... Cuts like a hot knife through butter...

  • You do realize this is a plasma cutting torch, and not a laser right? I work with these all the time. They use a high energy beam of electricity to cut, the visual effect is laser like however.

  • There are plasma cutting torches but this is actually a true laser with a laser beam that has to be focused in order to cut the metal. We have a total of 6 lasers that all cut metal.

  • I could watch that machine all day.

  • im thinking of buying one of these

  • how does it not cut all the way through both sides and hit the floor i dont know how lasers work

  • i want one!

  • Excellent accuracy too it looks like. What does a laser like this cost?

  • It's a great machine but it is costly... about $1 mil

  • Perfect dovetails are within reach! Lol!

    Great!

  • How much power from the laser? (If it isn't proprietary, of course)

  • i meant the 1st tube which was cutting , therest were precision, great job

  • beam is out of alignment there tho...i programmed and run these for years, great machinesand bloody expensive

  • damn !!! it is very precise !! it make work faster and 100 % perfect !!

  • Yes it does!

  • No it can't cut glass... Sorry

  • My drafting teacher showed this video in class. Hes a programmer for a fab company. He was over the top excited about this technology. Thank you for posting this video it is amazing and it opened up a great practical application discussion.

  • this is absoloutely amazing, imagine all the things you could cut wow

  • Unbelievable!!!

  • Yes it truly is!

  • f,,,k so cool ,so cool i have to kill my self now

  • this is so nice to wàtch :)

I thànk the engineers thàt màde this!! this is so beàutiful :))))

  • relaxing

  • Nice machine, does it do titanium?

  • Yes it does... Anything you have in mind?

  • I know you might have a titanium job coming up. I will have to stop by and see it in person sometime.

  • That would be great! I would be happy to give you a tour of our facility. My name is Jim and you're welcome to call me here at Marks Brothers Inc. My number is (503) 663-0211
