  • Rock baby Rock it .Let's go film Rosco.J Carrol, B.Twins :)

  • That girl who's searching for rock star is the worst actor, but damn dem boobies look wonderful!

Well, I guess a movie with such great musical talent needs no acting talent :D

  • @TheDJGrandPa Well...that's the '50's! :-)

  • Strangely, I like this movie! But I really not sure where that trad Jazz version of Saints fits in!

  • @guitaaress Well, in it's defense, at least they don't have crooners like Alan Dale or Julius La Rosa pretending to be "rockers>" LOL! (I like this movie too...because it's strange.)

  • "I love my records, and I love my stuff...I don't see why you should call my bluff."

    pure poetry!

  • I´d like to see the girl in the end that shakes it, now. Coolest grandma or what?

  • @luckylojsan I think you're talking about "president of the Elvis fan clubs" Kay Wheeler. She's mentioned in one of the more recent books about Elvis, Alanna Nash's "Baby Let's Play House: Elvis Presley and The Women Who Loved Him." In that book, Ms. Nash states that Elvis took his shaking act from Kay Wheeler.

I'll take it as a grain of salt, but I am skeptical...

  • That was one of the Greatest Movies I duns't ever scene'nt!

  • more infamouse than famouse.... is better not talk about the actors..... is better to forget this movie.... so the one just a little bit famouse on this film are the kalin twins that 2 years after went an hits with the song "when"....

  • @barnaba1964 Actually, the Kalin Twins (the boys who did "When", as well as "Spider and The Fly" and various other late '50's and early '60's cuts to be found on a Bear Family collection) are not in this film. The Belew Twin are the boys in this.

  • 34:00 The rubber leg dance!!!

  • Thanks for posting. The Belew Twins rubber leg dance is the best!

  • @fiddlerpin Is that really what it's called? Cool! I know these dances were specific to the Dallas area around that time. Thanks!

  • @sabinoson That's just what I call it. LOL Looks like the guys triple jointed or something.

  • I bought this movie on vhs tape years ago and I still have it,it's a decent low budget 50's film with alot of really good and rockin' performances by different bands.I can't find it on dvd anywhere though.

  • @rockinron40 I think the one you're talking about is from Rhino, hosted by Mamie Van Doren ("Teenage Theater.") As for dvd, "Something Weird" has released it, hosted by Johnny Legend.

The movie itself is in the Public Domain, it's copyright has expired, hence practically any company can release it.

That said, the music in the movie still has it's copyrights up and current (which is why none of us on You Tube can monetize it!) LOL!

That means, we're just sharin' it for the love...

  • @sabinoson Yes the one released by Rhino called Teenage Theater hosted by Mamie Van Doren is the one I have on vhs tape and I'm gonna keep the tape because it's so rare and hard to find and I still have a vcr to watch it on too and a dvd player.

  • I love those "Teenage Theater" tapes. "Carnival Rock" is another fun one and there's several j.d. flicks in that series, as well.

  • The Belew Twins!! What a pair.
