What type of turbine is this?

With the turbine exhaust pointing straight back, won't it produce a thrust vector that the pilot will constantly have to fight while trying to hover over a point, or will the exhaust be diffused with a baffle of some sort?

@malcauskas7 It's the ignitors that operate with the starter to get the "fire" going. They essentially spark plugs, like on a gas stove....sort of.
