  • I think I may pick up a set of just blue. I like the look of them and think they would look pretty solid on my Epiphone LP Junior which is Trans-Blue.

  • Interesting, maybe this could be my replacement set since DR stopped making the rainbow strings...$23 though? I paid $14 with free shipping for a set of the DR strings...

  • Better trainign tool is get some cheap colored stick on dots or thin tape (comes in a set) and stick a line under each string so you have the cue but still learn to feel out the strings.

  • How do they sound tone-wise and feel compared with regular strings? I'm assuming they are coated with something right?

  • @samunden

They sound fine to me...I'm no expert though...

  • My initial thoughts on the strings are that they would be good on a "guest" guitar to remove some of the overwhelming nature of picking up an instrument. That said, I want a set of 6 blue strings....they look pretty sweet.

  • Thank you mucho for sharing these with us! *smile*

  • @valzgr8 you are welcome... :)

  • I find myself looking more at the tv than my guitar anyways... but i'm sure they might help someone.

  • I understand everyone can't afford these premium strings but Bling cost bucks... Have nice day!

  • Kinda looks like one of those plastic guitar controllers now...

Get used to just looking at the screen and 'feeling' your way around the guitar instead of having visible clues on it where you have to take your eyes off the screen... You want to build muscle memory rather then having to look at the screen, quickly look at the guitar string color, your finger placement, etc.

By the time that is all done, the song is already over..

  • @GrimSchwede

Hey, thanks for the tips, but I've been playing for a while now, not quite a beginner...I enjoy the colored strings and as a matter of fact a lot of guitarists that are a lot better than me use colored and/or neon colored strings on their Axes...I hope to get some neon strings for my next Strat... :) Have nice day...

  • very cool, a little pricey for me but still cool

  • Aren't the inner packets marked by gauge as well as the Rocksmith color code? Being color blind, that would only serve to mess me up.

  • @bobpeters61

Yes, the strings are all clearly marked with the gauge number...

I would not recommend these strings for color blind people...

  • @TheFunkycrisp

they look even better in real life! They sound great and look pretty cool!
