funny, the interceptor needs full information where to be intercepted is coming from otherwise it would not act. this was a good chance to intercept stray missile on unknown path. But Indian interceptor decides to take some rest and have lunch as it is fault of incoming missile that changed its path.

well, really people understand what went wrong - there are two things - 1 target "prithvi modified" another is the defence system interceptor missile. a modified missile is used to target a place in a country imitating a enemy balistic missile threatening to enter the aerospace, the other misile that is the interceptor "akash" sensing a balistic misile approaching towards the indian aerospace fires of and brings down the rogue missile. in this case - rogue missile failed and not the interceptor.

The 250 km ‘Prithvi’ is the only fully tested, functional, and ready deployed uclear-capable missile that India has in its arsenal. With doubtful nuclear capability, India’s missiles might not be more than a set of expensive fireworks. This is not only the failure of "Interceptor Missile" but also the failure of modified "Prithvi Missile" and wot about Failed Agni-II test. Shame Shame ...
