I took some old dynastars I bought for $7.00 at the thrift store...cut 20" off the front of each..mounted a section of square aluminum(fits inside skate wheel track when wheels are removed)to those and mount skaet to rail with allen bolts. Works pretty well but I had to get the balance right!
My idea of frootbooters= fat kids on roller skates that fall on their ass and say that they were messing up on purpose. And i like hockey. I go to admirals games all the time
old concept. there was a very short ski in the late eighties, more like the conventional downhill ski but much shorter (50-60cm). traditional downhill ties and shoes.
They seem alright ... I wouldn't mind using them if I went to a ski park that wasn't very big and the slopes weren't steep, or indoor slopes. I like to go fast though ... with those I would just eat snow quick. Maybe somewhere between those and normal skiis would be best for me.
I was using something very similar in '97 and there isnt an issue with "balance" at all. They were fun but I love the deep powder and they're useless in powder.
Good lord, these stupid tiny skis have been around for years. If you like to ski slow, ski on lame terrain, and execute slow wiener tricks on lame terrain, then get some tiny skis. Now if you want to do all of that while looking like an even bigger dork, get a pair that double as roller blades. (Members Only jacket not included)

I can't imagine they would be nearly as fast as skis. Probably sucks for jumping, powder, rough terrain, and anything steeper than a bunny hill too.
