A poll conducted by the Military Times in 2007 actually puts the number of republicans at 49.1% with libertarians adding another 1.9%. That is a far cry from 73%.

I personally belive that having multiple parties is the better where a spectrum of perspectives is represented, instead of the the primarily black or white scenario that a 2 party dominated system demonstrates.
