@Nboy514 Whatever intensions the writer/director had regarding a higher meaning were lost somewhere along the way here. If this is meant to be some kind of warning about the way technology is eroding our civil liberties it's fails horribly on many levels. If you think I've read the meaning wrong your welcome to put me right.
@flash06 damn man, you suck horrendously. you've posted this exact same comment on all 5 movies. NO SHIT SHERLOCK. check out the video for the phillips competition. sorry but your comments annoyed me tremendously : )
@tomrule123 Did you miss the point of these? They're high concept advertisements for a television. It's used to show off the ambient lighting effects on the sides of the TV.
saw this on CR had to leave a comment after finding it rather unsettling that they are now using sexualized violence towards women or the hint of, to sell tvs. its disgusting.
@IFOUNDEET i'm not judging the entire competition? just this one, thats why i only commented on this short, i'm pretty sure we dont have to like every single short thats in the competition or are we all supposed to have the same mindless opinion?
@soopafob if u read my last comment you would see I already said I'm only judging this short, that is why my comment is on this short and this one only, generally when people leave a comment under a video they are only talking about the video on that page
I agree with you guys about the TV screen, very obnoxious, but the hard truth is that without that screen these shorts wouldn't have even been made in the first place.
It's hard enough watching the film so small in the first place, but shrinking it into the tiny screen kind takes away from the idea that it's cinematic. Need to get a magnifying glass on it... Shame as it doesn't do what looks like a cool short justice.
@Britize Well, I GUESS it kind of works in THIS particular film, because the whole thing is about how people are being watched - and with the TV screen, it can be interpreted as us watching the main character in yet another sense.
This being said, it's still kind of obnoxious and should be done without for the full release.

Really nice! The setting, the environment, the asian theme, the unicorn, the camera zooming into a mirror is all from Bladerunner.

Pretty obnoxious branding, on an otherwise brilliant short. Spoils the effect a little, especially as it doesn't need to take up so much space.

Brilliant. I only wish there was a version without the TV on the actual screen. Aside from that, well done.
