  • he did'nt make us simply so we would worship him, we CHOOSE to worship him as a way to tell him ''we love you'' and ''thank you'' the reason we know he exists is so we can make the right desicions deciding our fate in the afterlife... it's something we owe him for the good things in life he has done for us

  • @SorryStamina maybe God isn't more powerful than Lucifer. Maybe they are equals and this world is a competition between the two of them to see who can get more people into Hell or Heaven.

  • Jesus died on the cross for us so when we die we go to heaven n not be dust n the reason y there is ppl on this earth is cuz lucifer wanted to be god n he couldnt so he wanted to make desolations in the earth also he wants ppl to serve him to keep ppl out of heaven since he hates god y do u think there is evil in this world its not just from something random thts why there are a group called the illuminati and free masons cuz they worship the devil

  • @XxDaViS10 Yet God is more powerful then the devil? Why doesn't he put him in a naughty corner or something?

  • Just like you respect your mom and dad cuase you love them ,you are to respect GOD becuase he loves you.

  • @apriljessica266 Unless you're gay or atheist. In which case he wishes eternal torment on your soul.

    Sounds like a great dad.

  • @CanadianMuffins I am neither and what you said makes no sence. What you meant to say is waaa I cant not believe in GOD and do what I want. Get over it becuase I have already. Life does not work in your favor all the time.

  • @apriljessica266 I'm well aware that life does not work in my favor. It doesn't revolve around anyone.

But that has nothing to do with you believing in something that has absolutely no evidence to back it up. You don't have someone watching over you, that has a plan for you insignificant little life.

    Get over it.

  • @CanadianMuffins you are wrong

  • @apriljessica266 Care to back that up?

  • @apriljessica266 Jessica I dont care in what you belive in,in the words of eminem "I dont care if your black white, gay, straight, bisexual" etc etc I simply dont mind if you belive in god,as a matter of fact I tend to prefer christians as they have ethics but what annoys me is when they say to other people there views are wrong, arnt we entilteted to out own views do not force you views upon others.

  • @apriljessica266 also how would you feel if I insulted your views, belittling you by saying when you die you wont go to heaven your corpse will rot underground with magggots chewing out your eye holes, perhaps the idea of life after death does not appeal to me.but atleast I dont say this will happen for not supporting my view upon life.I am an A star pupil in Religious education and I am going on to do a degree in law,so if your going to argue a point make it worthy of my time.

  • @TheDan1001 Yes I believe you should value life and live life to the fullest while your here on earth but not believing there is life after death, that it you could die tommorrow and that be it. Well thats sad. You can be the smartest person in the world I dnt care doesnt mean you have any common sense. And yes I am in college so your point is ? I am sorry what was your question ?

  • @apriljessica266 If you belive that is sad then your narrow minded,I belive you get one shot round in life and should therefore value every second of it,I belive you should make an impact on the living not impress some "God" by worshiping him,Now im not saying your not entilted to your own opinion just im telling you mine and I believe mine is right.

  • @TheDan1001 yes I believe that too. That you should make a lasting impression on the living . Thats why the bible says treat others as you would want others to treat you. I am not tryin to be rule just telling you that you are not going to influence me because I know what I believe is true. The only problem I have with athiest is when yall insult GOD . God is my heavenly father you would like it if I insulted your father , mother , brother , sister , cousin or friend would you?

  • @apriljessica266 You can share your beliefs without insults.

  • @apriljessica266 I am in no way insulting your religion by any means I support it for the teachings like treat others as you would....but I just DO hate it when people preach, but I am liking this philosophical debate jessica :) and I do not want to influence you or I have become what I hate I just want to hear the points in which why you beleave in this "God"

  • @TheDan1001 ok Dan I am a nice person so I will agree to disagree . And My name is april.

  • @apriljessica266 hey you can have your opinion sorry if I insulted you and sorry april :)

  • @TheDan1001 Its all cool I dnt mean to offend anyone either.

  • Does your momma know you are using the video camera without Mommies Permission....

  • Almost everything written about "God" depicts selfishness. If there is a God like many people claim it, it is most likely NOT a loving God. It is a cruel, childish, needy God, and if his existence was proven, I do not regret saying I would believe myself better off in Hell.

  • And in this garden there was to trees...the tree of knowledge and a prohibited fruit tree!...now Adam and Eve were told to not eat from the prohibited tree. But Satan entered the garden! And God allowed him to. But the only reason he allowed this was so thatAdam would Cast him out and perhaps out of this planet. But adam failed to do so...this allowed him to enter our planet. See God created us so that we WOULD DO THE JOB SATAN FAILED TO DO!!!!...you get me?

  • Okay this is a simple question to answer stay with me I'm Gunna explain it to you!...okay so there was a leader of worship, this leader directed angels in a choir now there was a million angels that this leader directed he was the light of the choir!! But this leader saw God and said "I am going to sit oh his throne" but when he said this God casted him out of heaven, this angle was names lucifer, in other word satan!...God then created the planet and very living thing! God created a garden and

  • Hit the nail on the head kid. Make sure you always keep your mind open like it is now.

  • because he wants you to be happy , if you do things his way , you will be blessed , if you dont you wont be blessed , look around the world , see who is blessed an see who isnt , ease, just do things his way , be bleesed

  • If you created something, wouldn't you want it to thank you and trust you because you granted it the ability to do so?

  • @AntitheisticAtheist u should thank GOD ur NOT a drone! DO PARENTS HAVE CHILDREN OUT OF LOVE OR EGO? btw, EGO is an acronym. means Easing GOD Out! also, u dont have to b religious or go to church to love GOD or 2 have FAITH!+++

  • You must understand that God is infinitely good and happy, and the reason he created us is because He wants to share his happiness. But in order for us to prove our worthiness to God, we would have to be tested. Our free will is a gift that we can use to prove ourselves to God. Without free will, we would be like robots following instructions; why would God want to create a bunch of robots who are incapable of love? And yes, God does want to be loved. Love is sacrifice, and the reward is heaven.

  • @anchorowner If God is infinitely good, then why do about 25,000 people die every day of hunger or hunger-related causes? Why do people get lung cancer that have never even smoked? It is believed that along the history, smallpox killed more humans that all the wars of the 20th century together, man's free will not an issue. Hurricanes kill innocent people and destroy homes. If there is a God (which I don't believe there is), then he must be one mentally ill individual to cause all this suffering

  • @anchorowner Free will has nothing to do with most of the suffering in this world. Famine, natural disasters, disease are most of the time not the consequences of human wrong doing. What kind of psychopathic allegedly all powerful being would create a world where that is a constant?

  • Religions bullshit because it implies supernatural intervention, which defys the laws that govern the universe. It does not mean that a creator does not exist, but it does prove that the god of abraham is total bullshit. Seek the truth out because there is evidence supporting it. It would be like taking the word of a pedophile that just raped and murdered simply because you wanted to believe in him. Sounds really stupid, doesnt it?

  • We covered this in my English lecture a while ago and an interesting point that was brought up was such: God wants people to have free will so they can choose to worship him or not. By having someone choose to worship him, it brings him greater validity to his being and it's true, authentic worship- as opposed to worshiping God because you are told to. Now there is a loop hole in that statement because even if you choose not to worship God, you will still get punished, which kind of pressures...

  • @HelloCaille Cont'd 2... the human to worship God, even if they didn't want to. This seems to be a paradox and there may be another reason. We may not have the capability to imagine why, or there just may not be a "God" at all.

  • Hi. Sorry, you misunderstand worship. God doesn't want a group of people that act like cattle. The idea of worship is a form of communication kinda like you going to your friend and talking together.

    Peace

    chuck

  • God is a very "phallic" concept. We must remember this at all times in the context of persons as seductive as our young youtuber here, making such commentaries. He will either become a porn star, a child molester or a priest, with little difference amongst the 3 anyway. Now, if I could get just this one encounter that does not put the social commenter at the center, and replaces it with the awareness of this paradox, I think that would solve the youth man's quandary as it will my own.

  • u a bad ass lil kid

  • Christians- PRAISE THE LORD, GOD WE LOVE YOU OMG!1!!

God- Shut the fuck up already, I only made you dicks because I was insecure... but now you've been annoying the shit out of me for 6,000 fucking years.

  • Children believe in Santa Claus and God. At a young age they figure out that mom and dad are buying the gifts or older kids spill the beans. The difference is that there's nobody telling them God doesn't exist until they are much older and set in their ways. It's much harder to de-program an 18 year old whose been brainwashed compared to an 8 year old. That's why most people stick with their religion. They get set in their ways before hearing opposing beliefs.

  • Do you care if ants are gay? We're hardly Gods to ants but with God we're less than ants. So why should such a supreme being who created this vast universe care about us ants being good or bad on this planet Earth which is smaller than a grain of sand when compared to the entire universe? Most of the people who are religious were taught it by their family. The religion chose them. It's not like they researched all religions and picked their favorite.

  • It would be great if all religions taught that you had to be a good person to go to Heaven. At least that would motivate people not to kill and love each other. But if your ticket is simply believing in this God or that God, then it's kind of stupid. What if someone was never taught religion and died. What happens to them? Do babies go to hell if they die? What about remote Amazon tribes who never hear the Christian teachings? They go to Hell too?

  • if there isn't a God why do you spend so much time fighting against Him?

  • @rjayleno hes not fighting god idiot...hes fighting the people who made up a god to believe in and state it as a fact.

  • Because this particular version of god is just as simple-minded as the people who invented him.

  • I guess the point i am getting at in my last post is human beings are universe/humanity centric in thinking and that is understandable. Many think that God is part of the universe. When the bible states that God created the universe. He is therefore not of this universe. Therefore what exists outside this universe could be far greater in significance then what exists within it.

  • It is mistake of people to think that God's main focus is this universe and humanity. If you read the bible you will discover beings called Angels. What if God created the universe and humanity in response to a development that happened amongst the Angels? In the Bible you will see that an angel named satan made claim to the right to be a god and that other Angels have joined him in this. What if the universe was created as a stage where the legitimacy of this claim would be tested?

  • @AdstarAPAD Thats alot of if's that have no fact or basis good for you, you can ask questions that does not prove your god exist they just prove you get a bunch of your fake facts from your own religion. Also by your own basis god is hatefull since he created a bunch of people and species just to test them put them through hell and then decide none of us were good enough.

  • @amiapunk88 Oh i am not hear to prove God exists. i replied to give something for people to think about. The Word of God moves those who shall believe. Oh and this world is pretty bad sometimes but it is not hell. We only have to live a lifetime here anyway and then eternity in a perfect place. It is an honour and a privilege to play a part in the will of God. Even when it is a minor role. :) Oh and from the time we gained the knowledge of good and evil we where not good enough. It's not a test

  • @AdstarAPAD If your not here to prove he exist stop talking like he does you saying that this world isn't hell just leads me to believe your ignorant of what the world is today. Also it's not an honor nor a privledge, if your god exist I would rather burn in hell than ever serve a prick like him.

  • When i said i would not be providing proof, i was referring to scientific proof. God cannot be detected or measured by science. Secondly i know only too well the suffering in this world. But the suffering in this world is as nothing to the suffering that will exist in the eternal lake of fire.

  • God is perfect, and He knows it, so no He does not need our worship to massage His ego. Only people who subconsciously have self-doubt and low self worth need praise to reassure them of their worth. The value of Praise is for humanity because it focuses our minds upon the one who has the wisdom, the power and the love to ensure us eternal existence with Him. The more we focus on Him the more assurance we have.

  • Yes, you got it right, the god of the bible is an egomaniac! Just like the sheep herders who created him LOL

  • because its a selfish mother fucker kid ;/

god dosnt exist, basicly you already should know this by this question...

  • @WeskerPG trust me, he knows.

  • back to my other comment. If you created the world, you would want people to give thanks for it? He gives us the option. He's not an ego-maniac, If you created the world, you would expect some thanks back. Thats all I have to say. God Bless You. btw I just answered your question being 12 how do you think that is? Oh I don't know...GOD. I'm gunna pray for you..

  • @dhayden2101 He gives us the option?

Bull-fucking-shit he gives us the option. If you don't worship and devote your life to him, he thinks that you deserve to burn for eternity in his own personal torture chamber. Either God is sadistic ego-maniac, or he doesn't exist.

  • @9000mudkipzareinert Hell is only there because of the devil...

  • @dhayden2101 God damns you to hell if you choose not to accept Jesus Christ as your saviour. Satan has nothing to do with it. Unless I'm mistaken. If I am enlighten me and support proof with bible verses, sir.

  • He didn't. The bible basic says that God was alone and it was dark. You have friends don't you? If you we all by your self and dark and there was nothing to do about it except create and mold you'd probably do it. Am I right? God gave us the option to choose him because he has already chosen us. We are like this because of sin ex: adam and eve eating the forrbiden fruit. If he didn;t give us a choice, you wouldnt be able to say you don;t belive in him

  • god dont want us to worship,it is our choice,as is everything.and how do you know we are not the drones. What is difference between human and machines beside of material we are made,it is what is inside of you that makes you different.Outside everything is similar since we are made from the same thing.

  • Could one not answer that God was curious? God wanted someone to love and to love him back? Questions for you to answer back i suppose.

  • @UrMostBestestFriend he's all knowing, he can't be curious.

  • Its a good question, and a good argument for the non-existence of any of the Abrahamic gods -- and many other gods, for that matter.

  • I've also thought about how if he's all powerful, why didn't he just kill eve and start with a new pair after she ate the forbidden fruit? that was basically the one thing god told them not to do, and dumb bitch did it, so whyyyyy would god allow her to go forth and multiply and make many dumb bitches??

  • Say, if I created a machine, for the only purpose of serving me. By questioning why it was created, does that remove the fact that the machine has a creator? No.

  • @HimetaruHohoemi What is your point? A machine would obviously constructed, it is based on manual manipuation of the matter and energy comprising its body. On the other hand, we are based on chemical reactions and symbiotic relationships that are known factually to occur without any interference or guidance, because of universal physical laws.

  • @KevinReconAlpha My point is rather obvious. Do you believe the universe came into existence due to the big bang? Well I do believe that the big bang took place.

  • @HimetaruHohoemi Belief doesn't answer any questions, so I stay away from it generally. Technically, I'm inclined to think that the universe is eternal and has gone through an endless succession of births and deaths, the one 13.7 billion years ago was just the most recent. But, I'm just a lowly human being, what do I know?

  • @KevinReconAlpha You belief that the universe is eternal contradicts the scientific method. Even scientists admit that everything that came into existence must have a cause. The word eternal or infinite can never be exported into real life. As the famous, Greek philosopher Aristotle said: “The infinite is potential never actual.”

  • @HimetaruHohoemi First, describing it as a belief is a bit inaccurate, as I pointed out. Second, no it doesn't, at all, you just completely made that up. The scientific method only describes the way we use reason to observe evidence and draw conclusions, which has nothing directly to do with the origin of the universe. Also, It is not an uncommon thought among scientists that the universe is to some degree eternal.

  • @KevinReconAlpha I didn't make it up as the fact that infinite or eternal doesn't exist in this world is a conclusion drawn from reason and by observing. Are you able to give me an example of the eternal in this world?

  • @HimetaruHohoemi You mean like law of conservation of matter and energy? It doesn't even matter at all if I can't. You're confusing eternal with supernatural. Science attempts to replace supernatural explanations with natural ones, but there's nothing necessarily supernatural about something existing forever. Moreover, just because science seeks to dispel the supernatural doesn't mean that will succeed 100%. There are very likely things in this universe that our science can never explain.

  • @KevinReconAlpha So basically, you don't have any rational argument as to why the universe is eternal.

  • @HimetaruHohoemi I bet you thought that was a clever retort, even though it shows nothing but concession. The evidence that we have supports the big bang model, but we have no evidence yet for what, if anything, might have preceded the big bang, so it's anyone's guess. My idea is perfectly rational, and only an idea. Stop using strawmen to try to win by implying that I'm some kind of zealot frantically trying to convince others of some nonsensical truth wholly contradicted my modern science.

  • @KevinReconAlpha Rational? Actually, now that you've brought that up, there is a rational argument as to what preceded the big bang. The comment section wont allow me to share links, so I will send it to you through messages.

  • Also, science works by:

    1. observing evidence that can be observed

    2. drawing inferences based on that evidence

    3. making predictions about the universe based on inference

    4. confirming predictions through further observation.

So, in essence, observation is only a fraction of what is involved in scientific models and paradigms, inference is actually the more important part.

  • good point bro

  • You're right, it doesn't make sense. Good for you to question it!

  • That why God does not exist. And if there was a God he is a terrible being! Letting us suffer, many people dye of hunger, many people dye of diseases he can cure and chose not to...

  • Remeber your not alone in the way you feel and think. And importantly its ok to question any thing because the truth doesnt care if it gets tested or questioned it will always still be the truth. Which ever way you choose to believe enjoy life and have fun.

  • Hahahahaha you are right! You are a brilliant boy :) Its troubling me too by the way

  • following because your made to is not love it is fear. a tape recorder tells us what we want to hear if we choose, but does that make you feel love? know it just does what you tell it to. as a robot would, but if you having a kid are not affected by it telling you it loves you then why care about anything else either.? if you understand the concept of love you understand why listening to your parent in a situation that benefits you is important and makes them feel better when you do so.

  • apparently life is a test for us, we need to learn to be moral beings through our struggles with good and evil.

    p.s. god isnt real

  • GOD bless you all (:

  • Nobody knows what happens after death lol come on you saying you've talked to a dead person or witnessed this lol what a retard I hope he was joking trying to explain what happens when you die lol

  • lol, God didn't create us.... were accidents of cause and affect.... Though to feel inferior we created something to help us blame something for how we are and give us false hope... but in the theory because of humans belief he exists... the bad thing once you die your just turned back into energy and kinda like the Willie Wonka and the chocalte factory when the kid jumps on the thing to be shrunken he becomes millions of pieces in the air... basically that is what happens after death.

  • You ask good questions.

  • Everyone stop bagging on the theists that comment on this video!

They are just people standing up for what they believe in just like all of you and the guy in this video.

  • If God destroys his creation ( Lucifer ) then he is seen as a tyrant. If he gives free will and ultimately gives eternal life to his followers and completes his plan then he was right all along.

  • God is morality. Taking the words literally you see a egomaniac as you said, but in my view God doesn't care if you worship, rather he cares for your ability to question him as we all must question a parent and what they mean to us.

As long as your character becomes stronger, and your willingness to believe and hope in the living things around you and what they mean to your life becomes stronger, the more the question of why god would make free will is answered by love and compassion and growth

  • Great questions kiddo.

    I often question that too.

If God did want a group of animal followers, why wouldn't we be biologically simple. Like lumps of clay walking around. Instead, we are complex and flawed beings. Really, it's no big deal. You shouldn't worry about it until you're a bit older. Now go do your math homework.

  • @Odellhoward69

I don't get it, is that your answer? don't worry about it until you're older? He's not thick, clearly.

  • To be honest this kid doesn't want the answer's to these question. I bet he only asks these questions to stump fake Christan's into bowing before the all knowing atheists. They don't care about answers to the big questions, they just like asking them. Peace.

  • @SunnyLovetts

I'm quite sure he does care about the answers. He just won't accept an unsubstantiated answer.

  • Some people would want others to run around kissing their ass all day, they create their god in their image.

  • God gave us free will basically because He didn't want us to be robots and be forced into loving Him back as He loves us. He wants our true faith and not just us worshipping Him because that's what we were programmed to do. God created us with good intentions. But, mankind as a whole including Christian along with satan messed up the perfect plan of God by bringing evil into the picture. It's not God's fault and it was NEVER God's intentions.

  • @lnrbasketball1

How was his perfect plan messed up? Isn't supposed to be perfect?

  • @logicalmind4 his perfect plan; well perfect intentions is a better phrase; was messed up by the sinful nature of mankind and satan,. As I have already said

  • @lnrbasketball1

But if he had the power to make a perfect plan, and he had perfect intentions, then why did he make an imperfect plan? I don't see it making too much sense.

  • @logicalmind4 As i have already said twice, he HAD an perfect plann. Humans with free will messsed it up. It isn't a hard concept to grasp

  • @lnrbasketball1

Weren't humans part of his plan?

  • @logicalmind4 Yes but He did not make us to be robots therefore he can't contol our choices and when we made the wrong choice it messed everything up. You aren't forced to agree with me, so I'm not going to sit here and argue until you do.

  • @lnrbasketball1

So we were imperfect beings that were part of his perfect plan? The thing is, there is no imperfect part of a perfect plan. Even if free will were a valid reason for god not being able to create a perfect plan, my point still stands that it isn't a perfect plan. However, since you brought it up, is there free will in heaven?

  • @logicalmind4 i believe there is considering the fact that Satan was an angel in heaven then made the free choice to try and rise above God, but I can honestly say i dont have all the answers. If you are so interested try a Bible.

  • @lnrbasketball1

Is there sin in heaven now? And will there ever be again? Also, I am reading the bible, if slowly.

  • @logicalmind4 Good for u :)

and umm, again I dont have all the correct answers but I am looking forward to seeing when I get there, then I will have all the answers I could ever need :)

  • @lnrbasketball1

Would you like me to conclude the point I was going to make anyway?

  • @logicalmind4 As far as I'm concerned you already did.

this will be my last comment. I want to share the things I believe, but I don't want to argue about the things I believe, but thank you for sharing your veiwpoints with me.

  • @lnrbasketball1

Alright. Anyway, my point was that god can create a scenario where there is free will, and yet no sin or suffering. Why didn't he with us?

  • @logicalmind4 HE DID. But it didnt last very long because when there's free will there's sin.

  • @GodRules26

Is there free will in heaven?

  • Comment removed

  • @logicalmind4 Well I think there is but there is no enemy or evil in heaven and keep in mind hat we won't be mortals or humans with a sin nature anymore.

  • @GodRules26

So free will does not necessitate evil, does it? That is my point, god was able to create us without suffering and evil, and yet still have free will. Why didn't he?

  • @logicalmind4 if you open to the book of Genesis, you will read that God did create a perfect and flawless world with no sin and suffering. But, along comes Satan who knows who he can't defeat the omnipotent God of the universe so instead attacks what God loves the most; a.k.a. us. The only reason there is sin is because of Satan. If God would have had his intentions carried out by humanity, we would be living in a perfect world. Do you believe there is a God?

  • @GodRules26

If Satan is evil, and he was able to enter the garden of eden, then god failed to create a perfect world without evil. God is evidently more powerful than Satan, and could have at very least barred his entrance to the garden of eden, better still get rid of Satan all together. In addition, It was not humanity that failed to carry out god's intentions, it was just adam and eve. Yet, the entirety of the subsequent generations were punished. And no, I do not believe in god.

  • @logicalmind4 I don't know how people can not know there was an intelligent Creator. I don't see how it could happen just by accident or by an expolosion or whatever other theories people have come up with now. they call themselves "logic and reson" but there's fallacies in their arguements and assertions that they apparently fail to see and it bascially degrades human beings to being lumps of matter that came here by accident. I don't know about you but I consider humanity to be more than that

  • @GodRules26

Reality is not dependent upon intuition. I do not know because I do not see evidence for one. Not seeing how the universe could have come about by other means and subsequently concluding god is an argument from ignorance.

To which arguments and fallacies are you referring to? Your previous statement is somewhat vague.

Value judgements placed upon humanity have no bearing on its origin. In any case, I consider a race that independently triumphs much better than some whim of a god.

  • @logicalmind4 Let me just say this, because obviously, our discussion isn't changing either one of our veiwpoints. No matter what anybody says, whether they called me stupid or ignorant, no matter what they call my God, no matter what they believe, no matter how much suffering is in my life or what happens, I'm always going to love Him forever. Because I've seen truth, I've felt God, and I've been forgiven and saved and I am loved, as are you. I pray one day you feel the same way. God bless you!

  • @GodRules26 Good for you, but that was your need to feel 'something' you felt. If I'm very depressed about something and I'd pray (I used to be christian) I felt better, because I really thought 'god' heard it. The truth is, when you want to see, hear or feel things so badly, you will indeed.

  • @GodRules26 No, sorry to burst your bubble but it's a delusion- identical to how Voodoo priests enter spirit trances, Pentecostals speak in tongues, and Buddhists obtain nirvana. Never underestimate the psychosomatic power of belief. It's very, very obvious to anyone with functional reasoning skills that the Bible is bronze age book of myths recorded by people who had no scientific understanding. If there was a God, we'd have objective evidence for it rather than only subjective experiences.

  • @KevinReconAlpha No, I'M sorry to burst YOUR bubble.... You're never gonna be able to convince that there's no God. Call me crazy or whatever you want to call me.... I know my life has more meaning than an accident of cause and effect. And if you want to treat your life like you're a pointless lump of mass than go ahead. But I'm looking at my life in a way that makes me important, special, and a gift. Have a good day. God bless you.

  • @lnrbasketball1 Just because it's an "accident" (read: it isn't, it's determinism), doesn't mean your life is without meaning. There's a grand order and majesty to the workings of the cosmos, whether there is or isn't a God has no bearing on that. However, feeling that you as an individual are more significant than you actually are qualifies as delusion.

A concept that is not hard to grasp is grammar. If you learned that, I'm sure you would be much more blessed

  • @unimonkey73 the "an" was a typo if that's what you're talking about.

I'm already extremely blessed but thanks anyways

  • 'cause he is an egotistical asshole!!

  • God created man in his image and likeness therefore he created us to create. He established within us a free will for us to do as we please. His great wish is for us to realize that there is no separation between GOD and man and that we are all interconnected with one divine energy of love. We can deny his existence, however something has to exist in order to deny it's existence. There are things in this world that are so vastly unexplainable that we must no longer question but accept the TAO

  • @papathompson oh and don't forget...if we deny his existence he punishes us to an eternity of torture and suffering. what a great and loving god. Let us also not forget, you can only have free will if you are ACTUALLY free. Being told "I allow you to be free" is not free will! That's just doing what you're told by a dictator! And if things are so "vastly unexplainable", then how you posit a supernatural creator who did all these strange things in order to judge us so we can get into paradise?

  • If God created a bunch of drones then how would that be love? The ability to love is true love. Being forced to love means love does not exist. He gave us free will, to love him with our choice. If there is no choice there is no love. GET IT?

  • @SunnyLovetts exactly. If we were just robots we would be programmed to love God. Can you imagine having a hudband or wife that only loved you because that's what they were programmed to do? Imagine if your husband (if your a girl) bought you flowers and when you said thank you he said "I was programed to do that, wasn't my choice.". Wouldn't be as special would it? THat's how God is. He wants us to CHOOSE to love him and to do that we have to have free will which he established within humans.

  • @lnrbasketball1 You make a lot of sense I think I'm going to add you as a friend =]

  • @SunnyLovetts Thanks. I asked God to speak through me, His daughter :)

  • this kid is great!

  • Im muslim, and in Islam God doesnt need worship, the Quran says if all of mankind never worshipped Him it wouldnt matter in the slightest, hope that clarifies it a bit. Unless your asking about the Christian faith which I cant give a proper answer for.

  • @TheKap1an Same goes for the God Christians worship. If no one ever worshipped him, it is not like all his power and knowledge and greatness would fade. We need him. He doesn't need us.

  • your one smart kid

  • your right. it seems god is very big headed

  • Answer to your question: Because god was made in man's image, and people like suckers and sycophants.

  • Smart kid, you look really young and I wish that I had of though about it sooner.

  • it wasn't God, only humans think of that..........

  • God couldn’t make men without their free will. In love you can’t force someone, it just can’t exist in love. And since God is LOVE, he cannot force us to love him. He will always love you, no matter what you do! Anything is possible for him, except one thing – and that is whether or not you want to love the God who created you. The God that will never stop loving you.!

  • Let’s say it’s your birthday, and everyone who comes give you a great gift. But the only reason why the came and brought a gift is because you made them! They wouldn’t have come if they had their free will.! Wouldn’t you appreciate it more if someone knocked at your door some day with a gift, just because they wanted you to have it and that the gave it of love.!

  • @DKcarina That would be awesome, forcing everyone on the planet to give me a gift, even one dollar, just once. I'd be siiting on 6.7 billion dollars. Yes I guess it would be more meaningful if it was volitionaly given, but who cares? I'm rich!

  • @Krad787 - That's the difference between human and God: We're selfish he is not...

And everything he gives to us is of love, with no hidden agenda... That's why he created us with the free will - if he didn't he would have an agenda that was selfish...

  • @DKcarina Have you read the Bible lately? According to it, God is arrogant, capricious, fickle, murderous, and genocidal. It's hilarious how much Christians Bible beat when there's so much in it that contradicts everything modern people think about anything, but oh no we have to target ONLY the things we're uncomfortable with, like homosexuality, let's just ignore what it says about shellfish being an abomination.

  • Imagine yourself being the person who created LOVE, the person who is the definition of LOVE.!

Don’t you think God might have been lonely? Cause with such a loving character it must have been hard not having people to give this love to. It’s just like when people fall in love, and they want to make babies. He wanted someone to love. That’s why he created people.!

  • @DKcarina Why didn't he make a wife? Instead of creating a bunch of self destructive creatures.

  • well lets see here God is not just anything he is the greatest mystery. Who do you think you are by making all these complicated questions? Why would you even question someone with such high power? Im sorry sir maybe you can ask God why he did all this when your in heaven, thats if you even get to heaven God Bless You(:

  • @ListenConfirmAct I'm also smart enough to recognize when theists make excuses for their god, like you're doing now. If your god was truly omnipotent as you claim, then he would be well within his power to feed all the peoples of the earth wouldn't he. If we held your god to the same standards we do any human parent, he would be charged with neglect. If he exists, he is malevolent, pure and simple. And by the by, it's not the church feeding the people, it's the red cross.

  • @ListenConfirmAct Why do people have kids? Because they have sexual urges, sometimes because they want to have kids. Wolves reproduce, they aren't Christian.

Second point, remote control cars don't worship you or care for you went your health deteriorates.

  • @ListenConfirmAct If you are ignoring the old covenant, then should you not either dispose of the book due to it's uselessness, as it has nothing to teach, and then spread your love for all people, including Homosexuals? I'm not saying you are homophobic, I'm using you as a general term for people who use religion as an excuse to be homophobic.

  • @ListenConfirmAct "Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman, to do so is an abomination" Leviticus, although I forget the chapter 17 or 18. I'm pretty sure that's hateful. Oh yeah... ^^^^^ That quote is from the same book that says "Do not eat shellfish, crabs, lobsters, or hard skinned sea creatures, to do so is an abomination" Leviticus 19.

  • @ListenConfirmAct Actually, no one has killed in the name of atheism, usually they were just nut jobs, they didn't believe they should die because their no god demanded it. Christianity has that. Secondly, Hitler was a Christian, he thought Germans were a supreme Aryan race because the "Creator of the universe chose them so". You should Research your arguements, and stop attacking people's beliefs. Because it will result in retaliation every time. Just give your own ideas instead.

  • @ListenConfirmAct Atheism and Communism aren't similar at all, just because I don't believe in God doesn't mean I believe that the government should control and distribute everything in equal measures. Which actually isn't so bad, if people weren't so selfish, but I know it will never work in practice so I'm into the whole democracy thing.

Tell me how God is different from a dictator.

For Christianity, look at Malignum Maleficarum. How the Church dealt with "Witches" violence bred from religion

  • @ListenConfirmAct Actually, It's Theist history to kill atheists, look at the Middle Ages, Heresy was a crime punishable by death. Atheists are rarely violent, and don't commit their crimes in the name of atheism, because MOST of us value the fact that we don't get a heaven or second chance, so we don't believe we have the right to ruin someone else's one life.

  • @ListenConfirmAct I'm an atheist and I don't trust most of the things Dawkins says, in fact, he's a bit of an arrogant prick, and I would only trust him in the field which he has studied in. You, however, trust a book that is well over 2000 years old. Secondly, no non-religious person has done anything because they aren't religious. But many deaths have been made in the name of religion. What's different from me, Mao and Stanlin? I'm not a communist and I would never kill someone.

  • To record their reactions and post them on Youtube.

  • Because god is a bored, lonely, whimsical, old man.

I like that ending, oh by the way; clever stuff. : )
