my grandma had alzheimers disease and she forgot who my dad was, she remembered me. she hardly ever talked but on christmas she'd always end up remembering christmas songs, this was one of them. she would hum it for awhile then stop. this song she hummed the most, i guess she loved it. she died in may 2009. R.I.P frances ellen maffit.

@shaylazza Aw, I'm so sorry, Sweetie. That's a lovely story, by the way. She's in a MUCH better place now; my grandfather died in May 2008, the day of my thirteenth birthday. When you have a connection to someone - which you clearly had, since your grandmother remembered you above all - they find a way of communicating with us after they die. This probably sounds like a load of rubbish, but I definitely believe in it.
