I'm from Pennsylvania. So if I was allowed to buy cheaper insurance from Hawaii would I have to use a doctor from Hawaii? Is that how it works. Please explain.

What an insult to the medical profession and the people he is representing. Why do we need this competition, for the insurance companies to get richer by having the doctors hold down cost? When doctors have to hold down costs, only the patients suffer. This guy is an idiot and needs to attend Public Health 101.

DONT BE LAZY. Healthcare needs are DIFFERENT by state. People care about pre-exisiting conditions & having coverage carry & pay insurance to feel protected in case we become a "SICK" or "HIGH RISK" patients.

Health Care Reform should take an existing broken system and make it better. Does he even know what the major health problems impacting Americans are today? With the known obesity, diabetes, and smoking rates in this country, podiatrists are extremely IMPORTANT. Who is he to say people don't want Podiatrists, Acupuncture or Aromatherapy? Where is the research to back up his claim? I bet he owns stock in these "insurance" companies. Get your facts straight. Healthcare is for the people, ASK THEM!

Does this guy not know there is podiatry school in his own state?
Direct quote from Midwestern University's website:
"The Midwestern University (MWU) Arizona Podiatric Medicine Program is a 4-year program whose core curriculum is similar to that of other medical schools."
Podiatry is very important, please do your research. I do not think Mr. Shadegg knows what he is talking about.

To compare aromatherapy to podiatry is showing complete ignorance to the true profession of podiatry and podiatric physicians. Last time I checked aromatherapy and acupuncture did not save a diabetic foot or leg from being amputated but there are scores of cases where the podiatrist has saved a patient's foot or leg from being amputated. Podiatry is the specialty that the majority of Americans consult for treatment of their foot and ankle conditions. Get educated on the facts Congressman!
