@winebird1 Expect for the chorale this music has little to do with what we have heard in the first three movements. There is some similarity to very early Bruckner but to be honest the best bits of this appendage after the chorale is the stuff composed by Carragan , especially the minimilism towards the end after the recapitulation of the chorale .And infact , I find the ending of the Da Vinci Code in this minimilistic style by Zimmer nearer to how Bruckner may of ended his work.

Very Interesting!!....One can hear Mahler strongly, especially in that central fugue section..hence strenghening the link between the two composers..
