after 2 integras back to back, 2 years ago, I bought an 01 silver type S black leather. only thing I did was intake and tints. people jock my car all the time. I baby it though, gonna slap some 2007 tl type s wheels on it and keep on rolling (she only has 86k on her). The car has been perfect to me. I'm def an acura lifer.
i have many complaints about how the car was built, but it runs strong if you treat it right. sadly i got in many accidents. For those aware, captured rotor design, HUGE ASS MOTOR that leaves no room for any belt work..
I wish i have nice things to say about this car - where do i start - replaced gps twice , pass seat does not recline, suspension issues - and now tranny refusing to shift to 3rd gear. Heater is not working - annoying srs indicator lits every 10k miles- Out of warranty - although i luv the engine - fast and solid - total experience about car is horrible.
Did I just see a first generation CL with an in dash navigation system in it? That looked Titties. I have a first gen CL Black on Black with gold emlems, barley legal tinted windows with now over 230,000 miles on it. Great Cars. Thanx for making this Vid. They may not be the fastest cars in the world but they are all round GR8 top tier in comfort, styling, and reliability!!! Mines a 97 3.0 CL best purchase I ever made :)
I too have a 97 2.2CL going under the knife for an engine swap, suspension, wheels, and keeping the body as stock as possible. Love the CL. Very under-estimated
well the cl is the same platform as the tl in coupe form which is based off the accord platform as well...also the prelude is pretty much the same as accord with a different shell so ya there all pretty much the same cars with diff motors
No it's really not. And I wouldn't drive a PT Cruiser because it's a piece of shit.
And even if we did analyze looks, don't compare the CL to the hilariously bad looks of the PT Cruiser. I don't see what you find so ugly about the CL, it's just a coupe with a bigger trunk.

I have a 97 CL. ran 180,000 miles and the transmission blew. replaced it for 3 grand and now back on the road!!
