@dwilliams02 It's no problem, I am glad that you recognize that everyone gets to have an opinion, there are a lot of people on youtube who are excessively rude just because they disagree with a comment. I guess you could quantify character development, that's true. The main reason I didn't really like Michael's story was because it felt a little open ended - they couldn't bring walt back because the actor grew up, so that sorta split up the pair and didn't leave a lot of wiggle room for writing.

That fail safe ending just send shivers down my spine. Such a huge moment in the show - I believe one of the big game changers. Well, we'll know by Season 6 at least - but my suspicion it had some major repercussions on the overall mythology. Also the way the music peaks and Desmond pictures Penny in his mind is just beautiful. 'All we really need to survive is one person...and you have her...I will wait for you always....I love you Penny' - tears.
