Whoever made thIs video should check his/her bible because one story says whether you work your entire life believing or you spend the last year of your life believing, that you will still be accepted into heaven. You cannont judge another person.
Of all the chapters of Crazy Love , this one sticks out to me the most simply because it describes how I used to be . I've said this before am I'll say it again , in one way or another , we are all hypocritical . Nobody's perfect . I mean , when I was younger my cousins used to tell me , stop trying to be perfect . Well , I just didn't pay attention to it till now when I fully understand what that truly means . Yes , I strive to be perfect because the bible tells me to strive to be like Jesus
@gilbert4321 Not at all. He makes it sound like we NEED God, every waking moment of our lives ;) and we should have a love relationship with him and live it not just profess it.
@gilbert4321 Does he??? It sounded, simple to me: If we love Jesus then our life will reflect this by following and obeying Him. But you're right, I think it IS impossible to follow Jesus on our own. Luckily Jesus says he will NEVER leave us. If we truly follow Jesus that means not doing ANYTHING in our own strength because we CAN'T really follow him in our own strength and but making Jesus the ONLY one we can rely on to BE followers of Him, by making HIM the one we get our strength from.
@gilbert4321 Allot people don't want to become that vulnerable to Him though unfortunately. They want to KEEP control. THOSE are the ones I am most worried about to be honest.
@TheLuvbasketball22 Read Francis Chans books, along with the Scripture most importantly. Reading the scriptures and associating yourself with other true followers of Christ is one of the most empowering things you can do.
I love this chapter because we all need these reminders. I was disturbed though when you said you’re going to heaven and then judge others saying they’re not, or how you said that you see people in the church that are zealous and they’re going to heaven- Revelation 3: 1 “To the angel[a] of the church in Sardis write: These are the words of him who holds the seven spirits[b] of God and the seven stars. I know your deeds; you have a reputation of being alive, but you are dead.

You can't leave temptations. Temptations will always be there in some form or another until the very day you die, no matter how godly you're.
He was talking about giving up everything like giving up on sinning and letting Jesus be number 1 in your life.
