I sure as hell wish all those young people could be with us today and much as I hate wars, sometimes they're inevitable, remember 1939 and the start of WWII, when that began nobody knew how it would end, but we just had to stick it out and pay the ultimate sacrifice,
as the alternative just didn't bear thinking about. But Iraq, Afghanistan and the like, well they are something different. I just can't see why our soldiers are still out there - these wars are impossible to win.

It's hard to watch this knowing that all those people gave their lives to protect mine and many others. I support peace and I know everything has a cost. Sometimes the cost is extradinary though.
