I never intended to put any K'nex of mine in this rollercoaster. However the train had too much speed and we had to have a quick solution. So the brakingsystem was my design.

Not my first rollercoaster, I've built ones before. I just did the electronics and the only knex piece in this coaster was not originally intended to be there. I just threw together a braking system ;)

Wonderful, great! So enjoyable to watch. The only thing missing is a POV ride of this. Can you make it?

@Griphen84 This was only shown at a funfair expo. Making an onride would require us to have a PC with a TV card and special recording software. However we didn't have those around at the expo. Besides carrying a 12 Kg PC + monitor ,keyboard and mouse with us isn't really practical. Sadly, the coaster was impractical to move so it was torn down right after the expo. We might make another video that shows some more details from the electronics, the coaster was controlled by an Microcontroller

Wow, Gump nice one! I'm sorry to say but IMO this isn't your best. There are some bumpy parts in the track that are really noticable. This is still a pretty badass coaster though! 5/5 =)

The track used to be smooth, because it ran continuous for multiple days and the video has been shot on the last day the track changed shape.

@maxlaam Or it could be that when the coaster was divided up to be moved to it's location in the video the track could've shifted. But don't feel bad just because of some crooked pieces, this is a work of art! ;-)

The coaster was indeed moved in 5 parts, however the tubing was not installed until all the pieces were together, this means that the final track shaping was done after the pieces were together. It has been checked and double checked, the weight of the train was the culprit.
