lol sweet- I have Phoenix Wright Trial and I just got Korg DS-10 yesterday from my hubby. (He bought something to keep me busy while he plays Resident Evil 5) ..... lolz
Hi, I just found with my DS-10 minutes ago that within the "song mode" you cannot play a synth solo. And your video seems to confirm this fact... what a shame.
I find that it really puts limits to the "live" mode, since you can only play a 16 notes pattern (I need 4 times as much to get an elaborated melody) it makes the overall sound very repetitive like trance or techno...
If anyone wants to share its tricks to play live, that'd be great.
you can navigate through the song in the pattern screen. you press lock, and it automatically starts the pattern you tap after the one that is currently playing. you can then go back during any pattern, without stopping, and solo, then go back to pattern screen, and finish your written patterns.
I've got lots of real equipment, they're all great but none of them pack this amount of flexibility all in one unit, and with software you don't have a Kaos pad built in, not to mention you can take the ds on road trips.. I might get a DS just for this
now that you have done this. can you do phoenix wright investigations~cornerd?

By playing live you mean making a good melody on the spot?
I'd go for the kaoss board in that case to keep the repetition off.
Just create a couple of good instruments first.

You could do better if you had a real instrument. Nintendo DS sucks.

this is a synthesizer, which does not have to do with any instruments. probably you mean a real "synthesizer" not an instrument

Isn't this a synthesizer? So it's a real instrument as well.
