I don't believe this was the final final episode there was one i didn't watch it but they just walked off into the sunset so i don't know if they really get married or not I am still trying to see if i can find it.

The series ends with them about to get married, but it's called off. So, it leaves you hanging in the end. That's how it is in the manga, but I don't know if there's an anime episode.

the manga ending is that the wedding is called off but then on the last page it sais

well they stoped the show after a while because it lost ratings( or somrthing like that) and now they are going to show a 13th OVA or something like that and if it a hit they will show the series again but other wise they left it open by alot

I don't think they got married, since the ceremonywas interrupted.

This episode is taken from the 31th book, starting from chp 329, and did not have Shampoo, Ukyo OR Ryoga in it
